The Mickey Bowen trained MIGHTY FLEUR (best priced at 5/4) returns from a 121-day break following a hat-trick of wins between May and June but she looks the one to beat if returning in the same form. The six-year-old was winless in her first ten career starts but is now 3/3 since the application of cheekpieces.
Mighty Fleur was a comfortable 4 ½ length winner over fences last time at Uttoxeter off a mark of 108 when sent off a 1/2 favourite and she is deserving of a 6lb rise from the handicapper. She looks versatile with regards to trip and she should prove hard to beat under Sean Bowen.

This looks a competitive 0-75 handicap but preference goes to RAFFLES ANGEL (best priced at 5/1) who has been running consistently well over this 6f trip this season. The Jack Jones trained mare has recent form figures of 3331 over this trip including when winning over this course and distance last time on good to soft ground off a mark of 70 under Callum Shepherd.
Raffles Angel has been an infrequent visitor to Yarmouth in her career but it has resulted in two wins over this 6f distance and also a neck 3rd over an inadequate 5f in June 2024. The handicapper has raised her 3lbs for her latest success which is fair and she looks sure to run well with four places on offer.
