SPECKLES has been set some stiff assignments, but she has emerged from them with her reputation enhanced. Aidan O'Brien's filly was only beaten three lengths in a Group 3 at the Curragh before making the frame in the May Hill and if those performances are a true reflection of her talent, a maiden should be a formality. Zenith Blaze couldn't build on her excellent debut second when only third as the even-money favourite at Gowran Park. There will be plenty who keep the faith, and Dundalk runner-up State Of Clarity has also shown enough to warrant a place on the shortlist. Among a clutch of really well-bred newcomers, Captivating, Duchessofaquitaine and Gods Love make particular appeal.Prediction : 1st Speckles 2nd Zenith Blaze 3rd Duchessofaquitaine

Joseph O'Brien appears to have a promising team of juveniles in the Juddmonte ownership and MOUNT MERU could be high up in the pecking order judging by the way he chased home an odds-on favourite with previous experience at Gowran Park. The son of Baaeed can make it second-time lucky, although Aladdin's Cave bids to do the same on the back of his Galway third. Jockey bookings do suggest that Kingdom Of Camelot is the primary Ballydoyle contender, with the Camelot colt out to atone for a costly Curragh defeat. Their stablemate Pirate Of Penzance is one of several interesting newcomers in the line-up, with Louis De Foix and Mashad featuring on that list too.Prediction : 1st Mount Meru 2nd Kingdom Of Camelot 3rd Louis De Foix

With a purchase price of 1,000,000gns, it was surprising that WALL STREET was sent off at a starting price of 7/1 when he was introduced in a one-mile maiden here in August. However, the son of Sea The Stars overcame a slow start to eventually make winning racecourse debut. As the type to get better with experience, he is highly unlikely to be as underestimated in the betting this time. Zarak Pasha was thought good enough to be pitched into the Group 1 Golden Fleece here last month. With the sights lowered, he can have a bigger impact at this level. Leadlight and Albany County are respected but appear to be the second strings for their respective yards. Prediction : 1st Wall Street 2nd Zarak Pasha 3rd Leadlight

SNOWING sets the form standard with her rating of 98 and her career-best effort to date came when third in Listed company over C&D. Outclassed subsequently in the Cheveley Park, the drop back into a maiden represents a fine opportunity for her to get off the mark. Taranga looks a fascinating newcomer as a half-sister to a pair of Group 1 winners in Tarnawa and Tahiyra. Similar comments apply to Anymore, a full-sister to Whirl, and Lady Letita, who is out of Triumph Hurdle winner Burning Victory.Prediction : 1st Snowing 2nd Taranga 3rd Anymore

Trean ran with credit in Group company prior to landing the Goffs Million at the Curragh and Paddy Twomey's colt warrants plenty of respect. That said, he may be vulnerable to an improving type in the shape of BENGAL TIGER. He has stepped forward with each start to date, running out a very impressive winner at Naas last weekend, and the extra furlong doesn't appear likely to be an issue. Stable companion Capability Brown got off the mark at the Curragh over 1m1f and it will be interesting to see how he copes dropping back to 7f.Prediction : 1st Bengal Tiger 2nd Trean 3rd Capability Brown
16:50 Leopardstown
Accumulation is a must for any shortlist representing Aidan O'Brien. A son of Wootton Bassett out of a Galileo mare, he makes plenty of appeal on pedigree and looks the pick of the Ballydoyle three judged on jockey bookings. The market should also tell us more about newcomers Sinanli and Drive On There, but FIRST WATCH made a pleasing start when third at Naas and experience could win the day.Prediction : 1st First Watch 2nd Accumulation 3rd Drive On There
17:20 Leopardstown
KING CHRISTOPH was able to build on a pleasing first run at Listowel when breaking through at Thurles nine days ago. Providing this doesn't come too soon, he could make his nursery debut a winning one given the strength of that form beating a couple of more experienced, 80-rated opponents. City Of Gold also goes handicapping for the first time and is a big player on his Galway form, while the penny dropped for Snapequus at Dundalk and he's noted too.Prediction : 1st King Christoph 2nd City Of Gold 3rd Snapequus
