MR RAFIKI returns to the smaller obstacles having come a cropper on both of his recent starts over fences. The five-year-old fared much better when last seen over hurdles, finishing a close second at Worcester in July, and he looks to have solid claims on these terms. Katarcice also has a shout back in maiden company based on his earlier placed efforts, while One Knight and Seamy Appletart are less exposed types to note.
Prediction : 1st Mr Rafiki 2nd Katarcice 3rd One Knight

DEPALMA's experience of the larger obstacles should stand Dan Skelton's charge in good stead. Runner-up over fences at Bangor and Newton Abbot either side of winning a maiden hurdle, he looks primed to open his chasing account off his current mark. Kilworth is a dual winner over timber, including at Ascot in March, and she could shape well on her chasing bow. She might give the selection most to think about and is preferred to Senator and Ignore The Door.
Prediction : 1st Depalma 2nd Kilworth 3rd Senator

Watamu returns to the fray with solid claims on her victory at Stratford in March. Ride Like A Girl has the more recent winning form having landed a novice hurdle at Hexham recently, but HELLO SWEETY could prove the one to side with in a tight contest. Stuart Edmunds' mare would likely have won in a more convincing fashion at Bangor if not for a couple of late blunders, and a 4lb rise may not be enough to anchor the improving five-year-old.
Prediction : 1st Hello Sweety 2nd Watamu 3rd Ride Like A Girl

MERSEY STREET should take all of the beating. Back up in trip following a Fontwell success over an extended 2m3f in May, the eight-year-old boasts a decent record when fresh and finished a short-head second over a trip further than this when returning from a break at Catterick last December. Everything points to a bold showing and he should have too many gears for Gone In Sixty and Bahtiyar.
Prediction : 1st Mersey Street 2nd Gone In Sixty 3rd Bahtiyar

Jockey Beau Morgan was left punching the turf with frustration when LADY DAPPLE ROSE jinked approaching the final flight and unseated him at Hereford on Tuesday. She would have comfortably won that day and can gain compensation with Callum Pritchard taking over in the saddle. Crown Of India and Seraphic will be there waiting to pounce if the selection falters again.
Prediction : 1st Lady Dapple Rose 2nd Crown Of India 3rd Seraphic

Glance At Me has won three times over hurdles and although pulled up on her chasing bow at Market Rasen, her saddle slipped so the effort is best ignored. She is capable of getting involved off this mark, but the formbook still points to ONEHUNDREDNEIGHTY. A win at Worcester was followed by a second at the same track and, with those experiences over fences, he looks the sensible option. Applejack Poet was third to the selection last month and may fill the same spot.
Prediction : 1st Onehundredneighty 2nd Glance At Me 3rd Applejack Poet

Fern and Fergal O'Brien teamed up to take this last year and have an excellent chance of doing the same with MOJO EGO. One previous run at Stratford resulted in a one-length win last month and he can bounce back from a subsequent Worcester fourth. Mayday Games has won two of his last four starts, but was all out to score here most recently and he may have to settle for second. Lucky Sevens is open to improvement after only three appearances over hurdles.
Prediction : 1st Mojo Ego 2nd Mayday Games 3rd Lucky Sevens
