With an official mark of 131, Edelak is the clear pick judged on the ratings. That said, Dan Skelton's charge has been beaten out of sight on his last two outings and it could be worth chancing the returning TOMMY PICKLES. The six-year-old was last seen opening his account at Bangor and the combination of stable form and their strike-rate at this venue suggests a bold bid is on the cards. Rock Armour has it all to do.
Prediction : 1st Tommy Pickles 2nd Edelak 3rd Rock Armour

Illogical Logic has proved a different proposition since dropping in trip for new connections and merits respect in his hat-trick bid. However, David Thompson's charge is 4lb higher than for his latest triumph at Hexham and preference is for STAY HOPEFUL, who made a winning stable debut on the same card. Carl Millar negates some of the 7lb rise with his 3lb allowance and there should be more to come. Kinbara Firstdraft is the pick of the remainder.
Prediction : 1st Stay Hopeful 2nd Illogical Logic 3rd Kinbara Firstdraft

With the yard in decent heart, this could prove a suitable opportunity for CAN'T RESIST IT to make a winning seasonal debut. The seven-year-old ended his last campaign with a respectable fourth at Exeter and a repeat effort may prove sufficient. Codger's Rock has only 1lb to find with the selection on ratings and he's an obvious threat with Sean Bowen in the plate, while hurdling debutant Lady Boujee is worth a second look in the betting given her leading connections.
Prediction : 1st Cant Resist It 2nd Codgers Rock 3rd Lady Boujee

KI WOO has done well over fences and resumes with a good chance of expanding on his profile. With in-form rivals Fever Dream and Dexperts Opinion having match-fitness on their side, carrying top weight is a slight concern for the six-year-old. However, he still has scope for progression in this discipline and that might see him through over this new trip. Ivane (2025) and Tommie Beau (2023) are previous winners of this race and can also have a say if stamina becomes an issue.
Prediction : 1st Ki Woo 2nd Fever Dream 3rd Dexperts Opinion

CLEAN GETAWAY has an excellent record over hurdles and fences at this venue and the six-time course winner gets the vote from the foot of the weights. Zamond is another C&D winner who must be taken seriously off 1lb higher than when a good second behind an odds-on shot here last month. Cadillac Ranch was runner-up behind the selection here 11 days ago (Natural Ability seventh) and, armed with a 1lb pull, he is another with a solid chance.
Prediction : 1st Clean Getaway 2nd Zamond 3rd Cadillac Ranch

GAMBINO notched up a brace of wins at Cartmel over the summer, but having to shoulder a double penalty proved a step too far at Perth. Dan Skelton's gelding might be capable of better yet now handicapping, though, and first-time cheekpieces could also be a source of potential improvement. Williethebuilder faced a couple of stiff tasks at the end of last season but is respected in these calmer waters on his return, while Klitschko's recent Kelso effort should have blown the cobwebs away.
Prediction : 1st Gambino 2nd Williethebuilder 3rd Klitschko

Going On won in a manner that suggested he could cope with the burden of a penalty on his debut at Kelso, but PARKSIDE LILY is preferred on this occasion. The daughter of Walk In The Park makes plenty of appeal on paper and represents a yard in excellent form. Her dam won a bumper on her introduction too, which bodes well. Bateleur is also noted.
Prediction : 1st Parkside Lily 2nd Going On 3rd Bateleur
