The David O’Meara trained WALSINGHAM (best priced at 10/1) beat a subsequent winner at Musselburgh last time in a seller and he should hold strong claims of following up back at his preferred track. The six-year-old has form figures of 31113 at this course in his career and although he hasn’t won over this 1m2f before, he stayed on strongly last time over 1m1f at Musselburgh shaping like it would be no disadvantage.
Walsingham won here in April off a mark of 84 so this mark of 87 shouldn’t be beyond him in this grade and he looks sure to run well with up to four places available.

This looks a competitive 0-90 handicap but preference goes to KNEBWORTH (best priced at 11/2) who outran odds of 20/1 to finish 3 rd in a better race on Wednesday. The Richard Hughes trained six- year-old started this season in good form on the AW winning at both Chelmsford and Wolverhampton before finishing a close 2 nd at Kempton in March off a mark of 93.
Knebworth had dropped back down to a mark of 90 following two below par runs at Newcastle and Doncaster after a break but was much better when only beaten a length last time off this mark of 90 in a Class 2 handicap. He has form figures of 241 at Wolverhampton in his career and he should run well with Donagh Murphy claiming 5lbs if he gets a good start from Stall 9.
