Fourth in a Listed race over course and distance earlier this month, SOUTHERN BOULEVARD can gain a first career win. A speedy daughter of No Nay Never, the Ger Lyons-trained filly had reached the frame on three occasions prior to that. Well drawn for one likely to be on the front end, Gary Carroll can be expected to try to make all here. Rejoinder improved on previous runs when second at the Curragh last time out. While dropping back a furlong here doesn't look the obvious option, the Robson De Aguiar gelding has to be a strong contender nonetheless. Pure Power, who represents leading connections, is one to note in the pre-race betting market.
Prediction : 1st Southern Boulevard 2nd Rejoinder 3rd Pure Power

Pat Flynn, who landed a gamble with a similar type here last week, can strike with JORDAN BREEZE. A close-up fifth over this trip at the Curragh earlier this month, the four-year-old reverts to the all-weather on a favourable mark. Now 5lb lower than when runner-up over C&D on his last visit to this track, the gelding holds strong claims under a very capable apprentice. Third over C&D on his recent stable debut for Jennifer Lynch, Subiaco has to be one of the main dangers and, racing from the same mark he won from here in January, the gelding looks well treated. Blue Anthem has to be respected, despite being drawn very wide.
Prediction : 1st Jordan Breeze 2nd Subiaco 3rd Blue Anthem

CHICAGO CALL can provide in-form trainer Johnny Murtagh with another winner. Fourth in a Rated Race over the minimum trip here last time, the son of Oasis Dream ran better than that bare form suggests. Short of room over a furlong out, the gelding stayed on strongly to be nearest at the finish. Stepped up an additional furlong now and with Patrick McGettigan taking off 5lb, he has decent claims. Course and distance winner Bear On The Run was an impressive scorer at the Curragh in August. Although failing to back that up subsequently, she remains a filly with plenty of potential. Big Gossey, who has been running well in better races all season, is another with every chance.
Prediction : 1st Chicago Call 2nd Bear On The Run 3rd Big Gossey

Despite not having won in 10 starts so far, WEARING STARS could prove hard to beat. Highly tried when down the field in a Listed race at Killarney last time, the Henry De Bromhead-trained filly had previously finished runner-up in maiden company at Gowran and an official rating of 85 is certainly good enough to win a race of this nature. Unlucky in-running at Fairyhouse on debut, Palace Fever should be capable of better, while Lookingforarainbow could shape well under apprentice title contender Paddy Harnett.
Prediction : 1st Wearing Stars 2nd Palace Fever 3rd Lookingforarainbow

GOLDDREAM had to be switched for a clear run when sent off favourite here last time and can gain compensation. A course and distance winner, the son of The Grey Gatsby could have been blessed with a kinder draw but Robbie Colgan has few equals when it comes to delivering one from off the pace. Third in the aforementioned race, the Ger Lyons-trained Daler shouldn't be far away again, while Son Of Beauty looks on a fair mark back on the all-weather and is preferred to Send Harry.
Prediction : 1st Golddream 2nd Daler 3rd Son Of Beauty

This return to a mile could finally see GO OUT get his head in front. Danny Murphy's gelding has threatened to win on numerous occasions and after going close again over 7f here a fortnight ago, the four-year-old can utilise his turn of foot to good effect over this extra distance. Storm Eric won over the extended 1m2f here last time. He's been raised 5lb but has scored off a similar mark in the past, while Prada's World has a shout if replicating her recent Thurles fourth.

In the form of his life on turf, PILLAR OF HOPE is worth chancing on his return to the all-weather. A respectable seventh in the October Handicap at Leopardstown last time, the Paul Sweeny-trained gelding had won his previous two starts. Able to race off 7lb lower back on the Polytrack, the son of Awtaad has to be sided with after just the three starts at Dundalk since changing stables, including a second in March 2025. Not Just Any Eagle boasts a similar profile and has to warrant serious interest as an impressive scorer on his penultimate start and following a decent run in a big race at Naas recently, while Serenity Blue looks best of the rest.
