GYTO's Day 2 Lucky 15 kicks off with a selection in the Coral Cup at 14:40 – the third race on Day 2 of the 2025 Cheltenham Festival.

His second pick heads the overnight market for the Cross Country Chase, while his third is a Champion Chase fancy for both Andy Holding and Aidan Coleman.

The fourth and final selection of this Day 2 Lucky 15, paying more than 2,000/1, starts the day as a double digit odds chance in the Grand Annual at 16:40.

IMPOSE TOI

Nicky Henderson targets the Coral Cup and the lightly raced IMPOSE TOI really catches the eye. He was a stylish winner at Newbury when last seen and has been put away for the race since. A mark of 141 could prove lenient and he goes well fresh too. He wears first-time cheekpieces and should give Nico de Boinville who is already on the scoresheet a really good run. I expect him to be switched off early before looking to pick his way through in the closing stages.

STUMPTOWN

The younger more unexposed STUMPTOWN looks hard to oppose in the Cross Country. He is still just an 8yo and has taken really well to this discipline winning twice at Punchestown and then over C&D when last seen before Christmas. He was good value for that win so an 8lb rise doesn’t concern me too much. He is versatile regarding the ground and with cheekpieces on looks a danger to all. He is a strong traveller and stays well too so has plenty going for him.

MARINE NATIONALE

At the prices MARINE NATIONALE has to be the play in the Champion Chase. He did what Jonbon couldn’t and that was win a Supreme two years back. I know he has been a work in progress over fences but that was a good run beaten just 2 lengths by Solness at the DRF and he was coming back at the line. If they go hard he could be suited by how it pans out and I give him a massive chance. The ground will be perfect and there certainly won't be any excuses.

SO SCOTTISH

The tricky but talented SO SCOTTISH certainly isn’t the easiest to win with but he has some eye-catching form in defeat and freshened up and having undergone wind surgery definitely looks interesting in this.

He was still going well when falling four out in the December Gold Cup here last season and with this scenario sure to suit if he gets smuggled into it I can see him going close. I know he hasn’t shown much this season but he is off a good mark as a result and his trainer is known for landing a punt or two.
