GYTO has Lossiemouth to reverse the form in her Constitution Hill rematch – who else makes his 150/1 Lucky 15 for Day 1 at Aintree?
13:45 Aintree
GYTO's Day 1 Lucky 15 for Aintree starts with a selection in the Manifesto Novices’ Chase - the opening race of the 2025 Grand National Festival.
His second pick for the Bowl Chase could set up a Gold Cup tilt with a win today, while GYTO strongly fancies Lossiemouth to reverse the Kempton form in her rematch with Constitution Hill.
Finally, he’s with the favourite Willitgoahead in the Foxhunters at 4:05, who was given a big run in defeat at last month’s Cheltenham Festival.
Good luck if you are following this 150/1 Day 1 Lucky 15 – a £2 win (£30 stake) pays £912.93 at the time of writing. And remember if you're betting on the action at Aintree this week, make sure you check out the best free bets through oddschecker.

JANGO BAIE
There has been quite a bit of money for Impaire Et Passe but I’d be confident JANGO BAIE is the one to beat. He is arguably unlucky not to be coming here unbeaten over fences.
He won head in chest on chase debut at Cheltenham back in December beating Springwell Bay and then a poor ride cost him at Sandown. He missed just a short head to Handstands but quickly put that right in the Arkle last month.
The way he split rivals late was so impressive having got outpaced and back up in trip here he is quite clearly the one to beat.

GREY DAWNING
I’m really keen on GREY DAWNING here. He was understandably given time after pulling up in the King George. That just came too quick following that gruelling run in the Betfair Chase but freshened up he was back to something like his best winning at Kelso last month.
He put a good horse in Iroko firmly in his place on that occasion and if he gets jumping and in a nice rhythm again here he will be hard to beat.
He still has the potential to improve further over fences and it is no surprise to see him popular in the betting as if he wins this the Gold Cup could be on the horizon at Cheltenham next year.

LOSSIEMOUTH
The rematch is on! Constitution Hill and LOSSIEMOUTH lock horns again and it is the latter I strongly fancy to reverse that Kempton form. She is a very smart horse over 2 and a half miles (4/4) and the trip could make all the difference here.
She bounced back from that tumble at the DRF to cruise to success in the Mares’ at Cheltenham and will be spot on for this now. Constitution Hill was still moving strongly when coming down in the Champion Hurdle. It is far from ideal coming here off the back of that fall though and I don’t think he screams that he wants this trip.
I know he won the race two years ago but he had nothing to beat and a lot has happened since then and we still don’t know if he is the same horse as his form this season just isn’t as strong.

WILLITGOAHEAD
I thought that was a big run in defeat from WILLITGOAHEAD at the Cheltenham Festival last month. He was beaten three and a half lengths and was sticking on at the finish clear from the fourth. He is more unexposed than most in here and if building on that run could take a lot of stopping now.
This won’t be easy though as the betting suggests and there are quite a few dangers. My Drogo was a good horse for Dan Skelton before injury set him back. He impressed at Haydock and it wouldn’t be a surprise if he put up the most resistance. Lifetime Ambition is another one to note as well.
