WATERFORD CASTLE (best priced at 10/11) has the benefit of a recent run over both Laureate Crown and Born A Star and should be able to get off the mark on his second start for George Boughey. The gelded son of Sea The Stars ran well on his three starts last season for Ralph Beckett prior to finishing 2nd on his stable debut here last time in a maiden.
Now making his handicap debut off a mark of 78, Waterford Castle should appreciate the step up in trip to a mile and looks the one to beat.

This looks a competitive 0-85 handicap but a chance is taken on DYRHOLAEY (best priced at 9/2) who needs to bounce back from a disappointing run at Kempton last time. That was his first start at Kempton and his record prior to that on the AW was 5-11 including a win and two placed efforts over this course and distance.
There are question marks around a few of his rivals as well so Dyrholaey looks overpriced to cause a bit of an upset.
