Eurovision Semi Final Two
Eurovision 2022 Semi-Final Betting Preview
The first Eurovision semi-final delivered some shocks with Iceland and Lithuania both making it through to the Grand Final. The second semi final takes place on Thursday night (12th May). For those less familiar about Eurovision, only 10 countries qualify from each semi-final and they join the “Big Six” to make up 26 countries in the final.

Eurovision 2022 Semi-Final 2 Odds
Sweden are the heavy favourites in the Eurovision semi-final 2 odds market with a what is the stand-out song across both semi-finals. They are currently 1/4 to win the second Eurovision semi-final and I wouldn't be taking them on.
Poland are the second-favourites to win the opening Eurovision semi-final; their odds are currently around the 11/2 mark.
Finland have drawn the short straw in opening up proceedings and are fifth favourites in the semi-final 2 odds market with Unibet offering odds of 25/1. They are led by Erasmus who you might remember from their 2003 hit 'In the Shadows'.

Eurovision 2022 Semi Final 2 Predictions
Ireland To Qualify from Eurovision Semi-Final 2 – 7/2 (1pt)
Over the last few years Ireland have entered ballads to Eurovision which has not worked and resulted in them not qualifying for the Grand Final since 2013. This year they are going the opposite way with an upbeat, party tune from Brooke.
I would put Ireland in the same category as Romania in terms of being in and around the 10th spot to qualify from this semi-final, so to see them priced at 7/2 vs Romania at 7/4 means they are the value play here.
They have a reasonable draw, performing 10th out of 18 and this upbeat song should perform well with viewers as the staging and lighting is also very good. In the online polls I follow they've also outperformed their position in the market and there's a real chance of Ireland taking the ninth or 10th spot to qualify and make the final on Saturday.
