Week 1 gave us a flavour of just how explosive this NFL season could be, headlined by Carolina's Jalen Coker posting a career-best two-touchdown display in the league's highest-scoring opening week game on record. We're targeting five players to find the end zone across Sunday's Week 2 schedule, with our selections built on established roles, matchup weaknesses, and the prices currently on offer rather than simply chasing last week's headlines.
TIP 1: Jalen Coker Anytime Touchdown Scorer vs Atlanta Falcons

Jalen Coker is our value pick of the week, and 45/17 looks a big price for a receiver who's shown he can find the end zone from anywhere on the field.
Coker exploded for eight catches on nine targets for 138 yards and two touchdowns in Carolina's Week 1 shootout loss to Chicago, becoming just the third Panther in franchise history to post back-to-back 130-yard games and the first with a multi-touchdown outing in his career. He played 93 percent of Carolina's offensive snaps and out-produced fellow receiver Tetairoa McMillan in target share, cementing his place as Bryce Young's clear go-to option in scoring situations.
Atlanta's defence conceded a first-half surge to Tampa Bay in their own opener and haven't faced a receiver in this kind of form yet this season. With Coker seeing red-zone and deep looks alike last week, there's every reason to expect him to remain heavily involved in a game that could again turn into a shootout.
TIP 2: CeeDee Lamb Anytime Touchdown Scorer vs Dallas Cowboys
Best odds of 6/5.
CeeDee Lamb heads into Sunday's home clash with Washington fresh off a touchdown in Dallas's Week 1 defeat to the Giants, and 6/5 looks fair given how central he remains to this Cowboys offence.
Lamb caught five of eight targets for 44 yards and a score, out-targeting fellow receiver George Pickens and posting a pair of red-zone touches and an end-zone look in the process. Despite Pickens' arrival raising questions about a split workload, early signs point to Dallas still viewing Lamb as their clear WR1 in scoring situations, with more route variation and a higher target share than his teammate.
Washington's defence let Jalen Hurts throw for three touchdowns in their own Week 1 outing, an early red flag for a Commanders secondary now facing one of the league's most dangerous receiving duos. Dallas will be desperate to atone for their opening-night defeat, and Lamb's red-zone role gives him a clear path to the end zone again.
TIP 3: Ashton Jeanty Anytime Touchdown Scorer vs LA Chargers

Ashton Jeanty's electric Week 1 debut makes 10/11 a well-backed price heading into Sunday's AFC West clash with the Chargers.
The second-year running back shrugged off a pre-season ankle scare to rush 23 times for 102 yards and haul in all six of his targets for 45 yards and two touchdowns in a 27-13 win over Miami, joining an exclusive list of players in NFL history to post 100-plus rushing yards and two receiving touchdowns in the same game. Quarterback Kirk Cousins was quick to praise Jeanty's dual-threat ability afterwards, and with new head coach Klint Kubiak's offence clicking early, there's little reason to expect his role to shrink.
Jeanty is already being talked about as a threat to make Raiders franchise history if he finds the end zone through the air again this week, and with Las Vegas showing plenty of trust in him near the goal line, he looks a solid source of touchdown value once more.
TIP 4: David Montgomery Anytime Touchdown Scorer vs Cincinnati Bengals
Best odds of 10/13.
David Montgomery was directly responsible for three of Houston's four touchdowns in Week 1, and even with the raw rushing numbers unspectacular, 10/13 looks a fair price given his workload near the goal line.
Montgomery managed 20 carries for 60 yards and two rushing touchdowns to go with a further receiving score in Houston's narrow loss to Buffalo, and utilisation reports had him taking every single carry inside the five-yard line. That kind of monopoly on Houston's short-yardage work is a significant signal for touchdown equity, regardless of what happens between the twenties.
With star receiver Nico Collins ruled out through a hamstring issue, Houston's offence should lean even more heavily on the ground game to move the chains, and Montgomery looks the obvious beneficiary of that shift against a Bengals defence that already conceded a fumble-return touchdown of its own in Week 1.
Jaxon Smith-Njigba Anytime Touchdown Scorer vs Arizona Cardinals

Jaxon Smith-Njigba rounds out our five selections after picking up from where he left off last season, and 7/4 looks a generous price given his central role in Seattle's passing attack.
JSN posted eight catches for 122 yards and a touchdown in Seattle's tight Week 1 win over New England, accounting for the Seahawks' only trip to the end zone in the game. He now returns to a favourable matchup against a Cardinals defence that conceded 31 passing touchdowns last season, the joint-worst mark for touchdowns allowed to any position group in the league. Backup quarterback Drew Lock will start in place of the sidelined Sam Darnold, but he already found Smith-Njigba for that Week 1 score, showing the connection is there even with a change under centre.
Smith-Njigba scored the first touchdown the last time these two teams met, and with the volume he's commanding early in the season, he remains one of Sunday's most appealing touchdown prices even against a defence not among the very worst on paper.
