4 MinutesMLB Odds: How to Bet on the MLB in 2024
The MLB is finally back this week after what felt like a very long winter offseason, which means you can now make your season predictions by placing some early bets.
Last year's World Series winners the Texas Rangers will be attempting to hold onto their crown this season and become the first team to defend their title since the New York Yankees won three in a row between 1998-2000.
However, teams like the LA Dodgers and Atlanta Braves are being backed to beat the Rangers to the title this year, so it should make for another thrilling MLB season.
With Opening Day just three days away, we're going to take you through how you can bet on the MLB this year, and give you some incredible offers to get your 2024 season started.

Shohei Ohtani Betting
One story that has dominated baseball headlines this offseason is that Dodgers pitcher Shohei Ohtani and his former interpreter are being investigated for illegal gambling and theft.
He signed a record 10-year, $700 million deal with the Dodgers in Free Agency last year, making him the highest-paid free agent ever.
The interpreter, Ippei Mizuhara, was fired by the Dodgers last week after it was found that $4.5 million had been sent from Ohtani's bank account to a Southern California bookmaking operation that is under federal investigation.
Ahead of the MLB Opening Day, this story has clouded over the Dodgers and Ohtani. As of yet, we don't know whether Ohtani will be disciplined or not, but so far, the investigation hasn't seemed to affect the odds.

Is sports betting legal in California?
Currently, sports betting in California is illegal. This includes both online and retail betting, meaning any form of sports betting is not allowed in the Golden State.
This makes Ohtani's gambling case even more worrying for the player and the Dodgers, depending on the verdict of the investigation.
