The New York Mets can't stop hitting home runs, with Francisco Lindor and Pete Alonso starring as two of the hottest hitters in baseball. Is it enough to compete with the Padres and Dodgers out west? The NL is looking stacked so far in 2025, and Jason Radowitz is here to break down the rest of the MLB power rankings after a month of baseball.

2025 MLB Power Rankings After a Month
1. San Diego Padres
The Padres are 12-1 at home and have a +33 run differential. That's 22 runs better than the Dodgers up to this point. They've scored nearly the same number of runs as the Dodgers but have allowed significantly fewer runs.
2. Los Angeles Dodgers
The Dodgers currently have the best baseball record, tied with the Mets and Padres. But what stands out is that they are 9-5 against teams above .500.
3. New York Mets
The Mets are on a five-game winning streak and just earned a home win against the Phillies. New York's pitching staff is one of the best in the MLB, and they're doing this without Sean Manaea and Frankie Montas. It helps when Francisco Lindor and Pete Alonso can't stop jacking homers, with Juan Soto still yet to heat up. This team could be scary.
4. San Francisco Giants
San Francisco is getting overshadowed by the Dodgers and Padres. But they're playing excellent baseball and haven't had the easiest schedule to begin the year.

5. Philadelphia Phillies
6. Chicago Cubs
7. Toronto Blue Jays
8. Detroit Tigers
9. Arizona Diamondbacks
10. New York Yankees
11. Cleveland Guardians
Don't let the Cleveland Guardians get hot! They've won four consecutive games and are now just .5 games away from the Tigers in the AL Central.
The Yankees and Angels are crushing homers so far this season, both sitting in the top-3 in the MLB. Who will go yard next? Jason Radowitz provides his daily best Home Run picks, don't miss out!
12. Texas Rangers
13. Boston Red Sox
I'm not sure the Red Sox can compete with the top teams in the league.
14. Atlanta Braves
The Braves finally picked up a series sweep over the Twins after a dreadful start to the season. They've won four games in a row, are they back? The NL East should be a thrill to watch this summer.
15. Los Angeles Angels
It feels like forever, but right now, the Angels are actually in contention for a playoff spot. Mike Trout continues to mash, with multiple two-homer games in the first month. It looks like the veteran is turning back the clock if he can stay healthy.
16. Seattle Mariners
17. Milwaukee Brewers
Someone tell the Brewers they can't play all of their games at home this year!

18. Cincinnati Reds
19. Tampa Bay Rays
20. Houston Astros
Is the dynasty finally finished now that Kyle Tucker and Alex Bregman are gone? I think so.
21. Baltimore Orioles
The Orioles were just a one-hit wonder, I guess. A 9-12 start has them near the back of the AL East, and they just gave up 24 runs in one game at home.
22. Kansas City Royals
23. Washington Nationals
24. Miami Marlins
25. Athletics

26. St. Louis Cardinals
27. Pittsburgh Pirates
28. Minnesota Twins
The Twins have been more embarrassing than the Rockies and White Sox at this point. There's way too much talent on the Twins for them to have seven wins all year. A sweep at the hands of the struggling Braves was not what the doctor ordered for Minnesota.
29. Colorado Rockies
30. Chicago White Sox
