At UFC 273, Khamzat Chimaev is a massive favorite. He's 10-0 in his fighting career and has wins over Li Jingliang, Gerald, Meerschaert, and John Phillips. What makes him such a terrorizing figure in the sport is his mix of size, strength, and power. Add that to his wrestling skills and good luck trying to stop him.
Gilbert Burns is a worthy opponent though. He's 20-4 in his career with wins over Stephen Thompson, Tyron Woodley, and Demian Maia. Will it be enough to get past Chimaev though?

His first two fights in the UFC were against lesser opponents but Gerald Meerschaert and Li Jingliang are legit UFC fighters. Still, it looked nearly effortless when Chimaev got in the octagon with them. Burns packs a big punch so he is going to have to try to get Chimaev off guard if he wants a chance in this fight.
If Khamzat Chimaev wins this fight, he has a title shot. It's the ultimate motivator, not that he needs any more, but I think he gets the job done but in a much tighter fight than we are used to so far with Chimaev.
