Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs Aaron Chalmers Odds, Prediction: Mayweather Given 94% Chance of Defeating Chalmers

Floyd Mayweather has been retired for the past six years, but he has continued to maintain a prominent public profile. On February 25th, he will once again compete in an exhibition boxing match, this time against an MMA fighter by the name of Aaron Chalmers. Mayweather will be making his debut in the ring in the United Kingdom for the first time at the event, which will take place at the O2 Arena in London at approximately 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time.

The fight between Mayweather and Chalmers will be televised in its entirety exclusively on Zeus Network.

Let’s take a closer look at both fighters.

Floyd Mayweather vs Aaron Chalmers Prediction

Floyd Mayweather (6-0-0, 0 KOs)

Mayweather will be competing in his sixth exhibition and will be making his first appearance in the United Kingdom; almost hard to believe after such an illustrious professional career.  The 46-year-old Hall of Famer was supposed to compete against a Muay Thai fighter named Liam Harrison, but Harrison was forced to withdraw due to an injury.

This fight will just be the latest in Mayweather's run of exhibition bouts. Thus far, the 50-0-0 champ has fought Tenshin Nasukawa in 2018, Logan Paul in 2021, Mikuru Asakura in September, Don Moore in May, and Deji Olatunji in November. In his most recent professional (non-exhibition) fight, which took place in 2017, he won by knockout over Conor McGregor after 10 rounds and improved his record to 50-0.

Aaron Chalmers (1-0, 0 KOs)

Enter Chalmers, a star of British reality television and a former mixed martial arts fighter who holds a record of 5-2 (MMA) and has one boxing contest under his belt, a decision win over journeyman Alexander Zeledon at middleweight last June in Liverpool. He made appearances on the reality television shows "Geordie Shore" and "Ex on the Beach."

For Chalmers, I’d fully expect this to be all about the money, and likely even he knows he has no chance against the champ.

Floyd Mayweather vs Aaron Chalmers Pick

Given this fight is an exhibition, as of Friday, it’s only offered at faraway places offshore, and not yet posted by onshore operators. According to those prices, however, Mayweather is a -1600 favorite, though I’m not sure a price can be high enough to not bet on the champ. At this point, Mayweather hand-picks his opponents, and I’d expect this result to be no different than his 50 professional and six exhibition fights thus far.

Pick: Floyd Mayweather (-1613) Bet $100 to collect $106
