The current Clemson vs. North Carolina odds are favoring the Tigers at -225 on the moneyline and -6 on the spread line. The total hasn't been released yet.

North Carolina has impressive wins during the season, but it would be tough to say that they've been better than Clemson. Their wins are over Florida A&M, App State, Georgia State, Virginia Tech, Miami, Duke, Pittsburgh, Virginia, and Wake Forest. Their lone loss on the season was against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

The Clemson vs. North Carolina odds might be surprising to some as a near touchdown spread isn't always common in Power-5 title games. However, Clemson has simply been the better team and oddsmakers realize that.

Clemson has wins over Georgia Tech, Furman, Louisiana Tech, Wake Forest, NC State, Boston College, Florida State, Syracuse, and Louisville. Similar to UNC, their lone loss comes against Notre Dame.

The ACC isn't nearly as good as it typically is. Clemson might be the only team that's truly that good. Even then, some believe the Tigers are a bit overrated this season.

When the Clemson vs. North Carolina odds release totals, it's going to be something to look at. Both teams play a different style of football. Completely different, actually. Clemson has a good offense, but their defense is the unit that helps them win games. North Carolina has a horrible defense, but one of the nation's best offenses.

Oddsmakers might make the Clemson vs. UNC odds total a bit lower than we think because of what Clemson does on defense and the fact that it's a championship game.

If Clemson wins their next two games over Miami and South Carolina, they will likely be a few spots higher than #9. If they were to beat UNC, the committee would have a tough time not putting them in the College Football Playoffs. They would need things to happen, and there's a good chance they will. Michigan or Ohio State is going to have a loss, TCU still has to play in the Big-12 Title game, and the other teams in front of them have losses.

Obviously, we're looking ahead here because of the implications this game has.

I'm personally not the biggest fan of Clemson this season, but I don't think UNC is going to be able to do what they typically do offensively against the Tigers. For that reason, I'm going to back them on the spread line at -6 and get this bet in early. The Clemson vs. UNC odds have already changed from -6.5 to -6. There is a good chance that we can see it go back up, or down. Either way, I like Clemson to win by at least a touchdown barring any injuries to key players.
