Caleb Williams' Heisman odds have taken a crazy ride this season. As you saw on this week's Heisman Watch list, Williams came into this past week, Week 12, with +1200 Heisman odds.
Ohio State QB CJ Stroud, Tennessee QB Hendon Hooker and Michigan RB Blake Corum all had shorter Heisman odds than Williams as his implied probability to win was just 7.7%. However, that's all changed.
Right now, Caleb Williams' Heisman odds sit at +135, meaning that old 7.7% implied chance has shifted all the way to 42.6% now.
If we're being completely honest, Williams should be the favorite. CJ Stroud is being propped up for pretty much no reason (-125). Stroud was awful against Maryland, once again, and hasn't had a great game in almost a month (10/29 vs. Penn State). Caleb Williams' Heisman odds should be the shortest in the field, but we'll settle for the second favorite for now.
