Our college football bowl predictions kick off with the Bahamas Bowl on Friday, December 16. UAB should win this game easily with Dewayne McBride running the rock, but 10 is a lot of points to be laying here. UAB's run game is enough to get it done, but not enough to cover.

Two of the better Group of 5 schools in the nation meet in the Cure Bowl this year as UTSA takes on Troy. I know one thing for sure, there will be tons of offense when these two meet. I lean Troy here as they are an insane 10-3 ATS on the season.

This game is a mess. Luke Fickell is gone, taking the job at Wisconsin. Scott Satterfield is also gone, leaving Lousiville to fill the vacancy left by Fickell. I don't know who is going to be coaching which team, but I do know that Cincinnati is the better team. I like the Bearcats outright.

No Anthony Richardson means Florida comes into this game as a 10-point underdog to a good Oregon State team. I'm not sure this game means anything to the players left playing for Florida. But I do think it means something to No. 14 Oregon State as they look to cap a great season with a bowl win.

Washington State vs. Fresno State

I'm all over Jake Haener and Fresno State here. Fresno State has won eight straight games coming into this one. They are a completely different team than the one we saw to start the season. I like Cam Ward and Wazzu, but not as much as I like the Bulldogs.

Rice vs. Southern Miss

Simply put, Rice cannot score of late. Their offense has been downright bad and I don't think the motivation of playing in the LendingTree Bowl is going to put an end to that. So, I'm riding with Southern Miss and Frank Gore Jr.

This year, defense is optional at the New Mexico Bowl as the total is an insane 71 points. But, I think the total goes over and BYU wins outright. I really like Jaren Hall and the Cougars. I think their offense gets it done in what should be an awesome game.

This is the one. This is the worst game on the entire slate of college football bowl predictions. But, that doesn't mean there isn't money to be made on this one. I'm going to be riding with Austin Aune and taking the whopping 10 points in the Frisco Bowl. Too many for an offense as good as UNT's.

Marshall vs. UConn

I want to bet on Marshall in this one. I really do. They had that massive win over Notre Dame earlier in the year and they're a fun team. But, UConn just seems like the right play here. The Huskies are an insane 7-1 ATS in their last eight games played.

Hugh Freeze is gone at Liberty and now they have to defend against Dequan Finn. This could get ugly for Liberty. I'm not a fan of betting on teams with coach instability, especially when they're going against a team like Toldeo, fresh off a big win over Ohio. Toledo wins this one easily.

Western Kentucky vs. South Alabama

South Alabama is legit. Western Kentucky is a good team as well, but South Alabama has two losses on the season. One came to Sun Belt champ Troy, 10-6, then they fell by one to UCLA. Having said that, 7.5 is too much for me here. Austin Reed is going to sling it and score points. Give me Western Kentucky getting the TD and the hook.

Air Force has been a great story this season. They also happen to be one of the least interesting teams in the nation. They're going to run the ball a trillion times and hope for three yards and a cloud of dust each play. I think Baylor can score just enough to keep the Air Force out of it.

This spread is right on the number that I think separates these two teams. I think Houston is about a TD better than Louisiana, making this one tough to bet. The real play I have for this one is the over, but I'm also going to be riding with Houston by a TD.

Are we getting Sam Hartman under center for Wake Forest? That's really what this comes down to. If so, take Wake and lay the one. If not, Missouri and Brady Cook should be an easy pick. I'm assuming Hartman plays so I'm going with a high-scoring Wake win.

It's going to be a boring one. That's just the kind of team San Diego State is. But, they also get it done when it matters. This pick comes down to the fact that SDSU is just the much better football team and Kenan Christon and Jalen Mayden should feast.

Which Buffalo team do we get in the Camellia Bowl? Honestly, I'm not sure but I think this is an extremely close matchup between a Georgia Southern team that can run the football and a good Buffalo defense. So, I'm taking the points with Buffalo +3.5 but I do think Georgia Southern wins a tight one.

Utah State getting over a TD against an ehhhh Memphis team? Sign me up. To this point in the season, Utah State's biggest opponent has been themselves. They have beaten themselves in more games than one but I think they can move the rock on the ground against the Tigers.

I'm expecting Grayson McCall to play despite dealing with injuries toward the end of the year. With that, I think this spread is entirely too big. Coastal can hang with ECU. I do give the Pirates a slight edge, but Coastal covers this large number with relative ease if McCall gives it a go.

Personally, I don't think Wisconsin should be favored against any bowl-eligible team in the country, let alone Oklahoma State. I get it from the perspective that Oklahoma State has lost four of their last five games and Spencer Sanders won't be playing, but I just can't get on board with Wisco and whoever they have under center after Graham Mertz announced his decision to transfer.

I think this has the potential to be one of the most entertaining bowl games of the entire season. Initially, I was going to take the 14 points and run as I like Drake Maye and think he should be able to keep it close. However, Bo Nix revenge season is still on. Oregon lights up the scoreboard and UNC can't keep up.

Tech has given good teams trouble this year and I have them winning outright in the Texas Bowl.

I hate how both of these teams look right now, but I guess I hate Minnesota less. Mohamed Ibrahim is a beast and I'm just going to rely on him to run over the Gophers in what should be a slow-paced, run-heavy game. The spread being so big worries me, but I'm riding with PJ Fleck and Mo Ibrahim.

Don't overthink it. This isn't your dad's Oklahoma team. Brent Venables' first season in Norman went about as poorly as he could have imagined. I think he'll get there, but not this year. Meanwhile, Mike Norvell has brought an actual competitive team back to Florida State. Noles roll over a bad Oklahoma squad.

Who the hell knows what we're going to get from NC State on a week-to-week basis? One week, we're beating No. 17 North Carolina. The next, we're losing back-to-back games to Boston College and Louisville. This is a Maryland team that is better than their record shows. I'm riding with the Terps.

I'm hammering UCLA here and I don't care who knows it. I think the Bruins absolutely run through Pitt in the Sun Bowl and I'm expecting a huge game from DTR. I think Kedon Slovis struggles, as he usually does, and UCLA runs away with it.

Even Spencer Rattler, one of the great disappointments of recent memory, has been balling out. But Notre Dame looks like they are a legit team now that they've worked out the early-season kinks.

Did Ohio look like garbage in the MAC Championship? Yes. Is that going to stop me from betting on them in the Arizona Bowl? No. I give Wyoming credit. When the opened the season with a loss to Illinois I thought they'd be one of the worst teams in the country and they are not. But, I'm going with the Bobcats.

It's tough to really know what we're going to get from either of these teams. Tennessee has Joe Milton under center now and Clemson has benched DJ Uiagalelei in favor of Cade Klubnik. I'm just going to take the points here as I'm getting almost a full touchdown and neither of these teams have been impressive of late.

This is not the New Year's Eve game that Alabama players thought they'd be playing in when the season started. But, as we saw throughout the season, the Tide just wasn't good enough. On the other side, Kansas State was one of the great stories this season, even beating TCU in the Big 12 Championship for the first time since 2003. Still, I'm taking Saban in a close one.

I'm less interested in the winner of this game and more interested in how many points we finish with. Has a bowl game ever tied 0-0? Both these teams have been a mess offensively and have good defenses. Not to mention, Will Levis is sitting this one out. I'll ride with the talent of Kentucky to eek out a win on New Year's Eve.

This spread is entirely too big. Michigan is good, but I think they're getting too much credit for beating this Ohio State team. The week before, they struggled mightily with an average Illinois squad. Wolverines get it done, but they don't cover.

I think Ohio State is going to be a popular upset pick here to win outright. But, I'm here to tell Georgia fans that ain't happening.
