2023 Heisman Watch
Michael Penix Jr. or Caleb Williams (+400) (Bet $100 to collect $500)
Michael Penix Jr. and Caleb Williams each added massive games against lower-tier Pac-12 opponents. Penix Jr. threw for 304 yards with four touchdowns and an interception against California, while Williams added three touchdowns, no interceptions, and 322 yards passing. This will be a fun race between the two Pac-12 quarterbacks. But they're not the only two quarterbacks in the Pac-12 in the Heisman race right now.
The Sleeper: Bo Nix (+1000) (Bet $100 to collect $1100)
Bo Nix and Oregon look like a CFP contender after dominating Colorado from start to finish. Nix just added 276 yards passing and another nine yards rushing against Colorado. He threw three touchdowns and added another one on the ground in the massive win against the hyped-up Buffaloes. It's a shame that the Pac-12 is finished after this year. The quarterbacks in the Pac-12 have been super dominant and are making that conference one of the most enjoyable in college football.
Another Pac-12 Player (Kinda): Jayden Daniels (+1800) (Bet $100 to collect $1900)
Jayden Daniels had another massive day for the LSU Tigers on Saturday. Daniels started slow but finished with 320 yards passing, four touchdowns, and one interception. We talked about Daniels at +2500. Now he's at +1800. With another massive game against Ole Miss next weekend, Daniels could soar up the rankings with another huge performance next Saturday. He's got Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas Jr., two of the best receivers in the SEC. Currently, LSU might be the team to beat in the SEC West. If that's the case, Daniels will surely be in consideration for the Heisman moving forward. Daniels began his career with Arizona State, throwing balls to Brandon Aiyuk. So he's another Pac-12 legend. But he's a star in the SEC.
