College Football Bowl Game Predictions: Bowl Game Predictions Entering Week 7 of the Season
A lot has changed heading into Week 7 of the College Football Season.
There were a lot of teams that fell out of the AP Top 25 rankings after losses last weekend. There are some new faces in the New Year's 6 Bowls now.
Here are my NCAAF Bowl Game predictions as we head into Week 7.
College Football Bowl Game Prediction
Rose Bowl (CFB Semifinal)
Michigan Wolverines vs. Florida State Seminoles
Michigan took care of business against Minnesota, earning a 52-10 win. They're still the No. 2 team in my rankings.
Meanwhile, Florida State is still undefeated after a 39-17 win against Virginia Tech. I'm not as confident that Florida State will stay undefeated and make the College Football Playoff. But as long as they keep winning, they're not moving out of the CFP.
Sugar Bowl (CFB Semifinal)
Georgia Bulldogs vs. Ohio State Buckeyes
Georgia proved all doubters wrong last weekend.
Many, myself included, believed that Georgia might not be nearly as good as previous years. They proved everyone wrong with a massive win against Kentucky, 51-13.
Meanwhile, Ohio State gets the No. 4 spot after its win against Maryland, 37-17.
Eventually, Michigan and Ohio State will play one another. Both Big Ten teams more than likely won't be in the CFP. But for now, they're both in.

Cotton Bowl
USC Trojans vs. Oklahoma Sooners
The USC Trojans needed triple overtime to defeat Arizona. That's not going to help them moving forward.
But for now, despite what the AP Poll thinks, USC is still the No. 1 team in the Pac-12. That could all change in the future. But as long as USC stays undefeated, they'll be in a New Year's Six.
On the other hand, the Oklahoma Sooners just knocked off Texas in the Red River Rivalry. That win has put them in prime position to win the Big 12.
If Oklahoma wins the Big 12, they'd likely make the College Football Playoff over one of the Big Ten teams. I also don't think Florida State will stick around in the CFP for much longer.
Oklahoma can undoubtedly rise into the CFP if they continue to play as well as they have.
Peach Bowl
Alabama Crimson Tide vs. North Carolina Tar Heels
The Alabama Crimson Tide escaped a very dangerous Texas A&M team last weekend. Alabama's starting to trust Jalen Milroe. Now, his connection with Jermaine Burton is starting to shine while the defense continues to play lights out.
Watching Alabama's defense face Drake Maye of the Tar Heels would be fun. Maye hasn't been incredible this season, but last week's performance against Syracuse should light a spark for North Carolina.
The Tar Heels have an important game against Miami this weekend.
Orange Bowl
Louisville Cardinals vs. Oregon Ducks
The Louisville Cardinals just knocked off Notre Dame. They're now 6-0 and have looked incredible under new head coach, Jeff Brohm.
Louisville has a pretty favorable schedule. They'll play Pittsburgh on the road this week. But after that, they've got just one more road game on the schedule.
On the other hand, Oregon's Pac-12 gauntlet will finally begin with a road game against Washington. A win against Washington could push Oregon closer to the CFP rankings.
Fiesta Bowl
Penn State Nittany Lions vs. Washington Huskies
Penn State and Washington both didn't play last weekend.
Penn State has UMass and is a 42.5-point favorite. They'll stay in this spot for another week.
Meanwhile, as mentioned above, the Washington Huskies will take on Oregon at home. This is a huge matchup for both teams. It's not just for the Pac-12, but for CFP implications and whatnot.
