The Heisman race is starting to shape up.
Many Pac-12 quarterbacks are starting to fall out of the race. Caleb Williams and USC just lost their second game of the season. Meanwhile, Washington's Michael Penix Jr. didn't look his best against Arizona State.

J.J. McCarthy's Rise! (Bet $100 to collect $280)
J.J. McCarthy is now the favorite to win the Heisman.
The Michigan junior quarterback has thrown for 1,799 yards with 18 touchdowns and three interceptions. His QBR of 93.7 also leads the nation.
McCarthy is a true leader and a terrific player. He's also earned 5.1 yards per carry on 33 attempts, with three more touchdowns on the ground.
He was dominant against Michigan State, but most voters are waiting to see how he performs against Penn State and Ohio State. Both teams have terrific defenses.
Michael Penix Jr.'s Fall (+300) (Bet $100 to collect $400)
Washington defeated Arizona State at home, 15-7 on Saturday. But Penix Jr. had no touchdowns, with two interceptions.
He's completed under 65% of passes against Oregon and Arizona State in his last two games. Before that game, he had completed at least 72.5% of passes in each game.
Penix Jr. has now had two games with no passing touchdowns this year. That's not going to help him.
Jayden Daniels Has The Best Stats Not Getting Enough Love (+600) (Bet $100 to collect $700)
The only reason Jayden Daniels isn't No. 1 on the odds is that LSU has lost two games this season.
Daniels has thrown for 2,573 yards with 25 touchdowns and three interceptions. His QBR is right behind McCarthy's with a 91.7 number.
On top of that, Daniels has also rushed for 521 yards with another five touchdowns and has averaged 5.7 yards per carry.
Daniels has the best numbers in college football. A win against Alabama in a couple of weeks would push him over McCarthy, if we're being honest.
