The 2023 Heisman Watch list and rankings after Week 9 in college football. As we head into Week 10, the Heisman race is closer than it's been all year. Read on to find out who has the best Heisman odds.

The Heisman race is closer than it's been all year. A couple of the top candidates had a bye week over the weekend. However, other quarterbacks either jumped up the list or fell down the list.
Here's the list of Heisman hopefuls and their odds as we head into Week 10 of the college football season.

Michael Penix Jr. Back To Being The Favorite (+280) (Bet $100 to collect $380)
The Washington Huskies keep escaping with wins against poor Pac-12 teams. It could all catch up to them over their next three games.
Penix Jr. only completed 55.3% of passes against Stanford in a 42-33 win on the road. But he threw four touchdowns and 369 yards, so he's back in the lead for the Heisman race.
However, Penix Jr. has thrown four interceptions in his last two games. His QBR has gradually sunk over the previous month, and he's had two games in his last four where he's thrown for no touchdowns.
Personally, I don't think Penix is the favorite to win the award.
Bo Nix Rising Up The Rankings Again (+600) (Bet $100 to collect $700)
Unlike Penix, Bo Nix has thrown no interceptions in his last four games. He's actually thrown 21 touchdowns and just one interception this season.
Nix performed at a very high level against one of the best defenses in the nation over the weekend. He earned 248 yards passing with two touchdowns, finishing with a QBR of 95.2 against the Utah Utes on the road.
Nix also added another rushing touchdown against Utah to have three touchdowns on the day.
His QBR is now higher than Penix Jr., But because Penix Jr. and the Huskies defeated Oregon, Penix Jr. has the upper hand.
Is Marvin Harrison Even The Best Receiver? (+1200) (Bet $100 to collect $1300)
Marvin Harrison is also rising up the Heisman board. He's had 17 receptions in his last two games, with three touchdowns and almost 300 yards.
Harrison has had six games where he's earned at least 105 receiving yards. He's also scored at least one touchdown in six games this year.
His stat line includes 48 receptions, 889 yards receiving, and eight touchdowns.
While he's one of the best wide receivers in the game, it's silly that notable names get more exposure.
Malik Nabers has 56 catches for 981 yards with nine touchdowns for LSU. He's been more consistent than Harrison but has odds of +15000.
And if we're being realistic, his quarterback, Jayden Daniels, probably deserves to win the Heisman over Penix Jr.
Daniels has thrown for 25 touchdowns and only three interceptions. He's got 2,573 yards passing and another 521 yards on the ground. With a date against Alabama this weekend, those LSU kids can make a significant impact on the Heisman rankings.
