The Heisman race is starting to take shape heading into Week 11! The oddsmakers only have only listed two players with better than +700 odds to win the Heisman as we approach the new week. Let's break it all down below.

2023 Heisman Watch
Michael Penix Jr. (+150) (Bet $100 to collect $250)
Everyone expected it. Michael Penix Jr. just helped the Washington Huskies defeat USC on the road, 52-42. Penix was awesome. But it was the running game that really took off for Washington. Penix Jr. only added 256 yards passing with two touchdowns and an interception. Those stats aren't popping off of the paper. However, he completed 73.3% of passes in that game. Penix Jr. now has 3,201 yards passing with 26 touchdowns and seven interceptions. His QBR of 84.4 is the fourth-best in the nation.
Bo Nix (+190) (Bet $100 to collect $290)
Meanwhile, Bo Nix is only second because of Oregon's loss to Washington on the road earlier this year. Nix just threw for four touchdowns against California, totaling 386 yards passing, with one interception. Nix has thrown for 2,723 yards with 25 touchdowns and two interceptions. He's also got an 85.6 QBR, which is better than Penix and third in the nation. The 6th-year senior doesn't have the passing yards than Penix Jr. has. But he's taken care of the ball more, which should have some weight on voters' decisions.
Jordan Travis (+700) (Bet $100 to collect $800)
Jordan Travis moved up to the top three in the Heisman voting after this weekend. Travis has Florida State undefeated after a 24-7 win over Pittsburgh. In that game, he added 360 yards passing with one touchdown and no interceptions. His stats aren't close to Penix Jr. or Nix. But his team's record is. That's why he's on this list. Travis has thrown for 2,469 yards with 19 touchdowns and two interceptions. His QBR is also seventh in the nation. Travis will run more than Penix Jr. and Nix. However, he rushed for -15 yards against Pittsburgh in the last game. So, that didn't really help his case.
J.J. McCarthy (+1000) (Bet $100 to collect $1100)
Finally, J.J. McCarthy had another fine game against Purdue on Saturday. But let's be honest with ourselves. The voters aren't going to allow McCarthy to win the Heisman after everything that's gone on with Michigan. Save your money with McCarthy. I don't care how good he's playing.
