College Football Bowl Game Predictions: Bowl Game Predictions Entering Week 12 of the Season

A few top-ten teams lost in Week 11. That helped shuffle the board a little bit, with new additions and some subtractions to the New Year's Six Bowl prediction list.

Here's where our bowl predictions stand heading into Week 12.

College Football Bowl Game Prediction

Rose Bowl (CFB Semifinal)

Georgia Bulldogs vs. Michigan Wolverines

It's unlikely that the top four in college football will change this week. Georgia took care of business against Ole Miss, while Michigan defeated Penn State.

This week, Georgia has Tennessee, while Michigan will face Maryland.

Tennessee just lost to Missouri by more than four touchdowns, while the Bulldogs already beat Missouri earlier this season. Things will likely stay put for another week.

Sugar Bowl (CFB Semifinal)

Ohio State Buckeyes vs. Florida State Seminoles

the Ohio State Buckeyes knocked off Michigan State easily last weekend. Meanwhile, Florida State earned a close but solid victory over Miami.

Ohio State should have another easy matchup against Minnesota this weekend. On the other hand, Florida State's got North Alabama at home.

Nothing will change here.

Cotton Bowl

Washington Huskies vs. Texas Longhorns

Washington continues to win. If the Huskies can finish the season undefeated, they'll move into the College Football Playoff, knowing Ohio State or Michigan have to lose next week.

For now, the Huskies will be in the Cotton Bowl and have a challenging road game against Oregon State coming up.

Meanwhile, Texas earned another tight win against TCU. They've blown multiple leads but have held on in many games this year. But if the wins keep piling up, they'll play in the Cotton Bowl.

Peach Bowl

Alabama Crimson Tide vs. Oregon Ducks

How fun would this matchup be?

Alabama will take on Chattanooga this weekend, while Oregon will play Arizona State.

Neither team has much to worry about this weekend.

Orange Bowl

Louisville Cardinals vs. Penn State Nittany Lions

The Penn State Nittany Lions lost to the Michigan Wolverines last weekend. But I don't think that pushes them outside of the New Year's Six Bowls. They'll likely have two losses on their resume against two of the best teams in the nation.

Penn State ultimately beat Iowa by 31 at home. So they're the third-best team in the Big Ten, without a doubt.

On the other hand, Louisville is 9-1 and fighting for an ACC Championship. A win against Miami this weekend, and they'll be facing Florida State for that championship. As the second-best ACC team, they'll play in the Orange Bowl for now.

Fiesta Bowl

Oregon State Beavers vs. Missouri Tigers

Oregon State has the chance to create absolute chaos this weekend. The Beavers are taking on the undefeated Washington Huskies in what should be a very tight and exciting matchup throughout.

Oregon State is at home and the slight favorite against Washington. This will be crazy.

Meanwhile, Missouri's win against Tennessee proves that the Tigers are still the third-best SEC team in the nation. It's not Ole Miss or LSU. It's Missouri. As long as they win the rest of their matchups, they'll be playing in the Fiesta Bowl.
