After Week 1, it is time to update my Top 10 College Football Rankings.
Let's dive into rankings!
1. Georgia Bulldogs 1-0 (Next Game Vs. Tennessee Tech)
The Bulldogs made a statement on Saturday with a 34-3 win over 14th-ranked Clemson.
Once again, Kirby Smart has the most talented team in college football, led by future first-round pick Carson Beck.
The Dawgs will host Tennessee Tech on Saturday afternoon.
2. Ohio State Buckeyes (Next Game vs. Western Michigan)
Ryan Day's team blew out Akron 52-6 in Week 1.
Kansas State transfer Will Howard turned in a strong performance with 228 yards and three touchdowns.
The Buckeyes have one of the best defensive units in college football.
3. Texas Longhorns (Next Game @ Michigan)
The Longhorns shutout Colorado State with a 52-0 win in week one.
Quarterback Quinn Ewers threw for 260 yards and three touchdowns in the blowout win.
Texas will have one of their toughest tests this season at the Big House on Saturday.
4. Notre Dame Fighting Irish (Next Game vs. Northern Illinois)
No team had a bigger win in Week 1 than the Irish.
Marcus Freeman took his team into one of the toughest environments in college football and stole a win on the road.
Notre Dame is one of the most well-rounded teams in college football.
5. Alabama Crimson Tide (Next Game vs. South Florida)
The Kalen Deboer era began Saturday in Tuscaloosa.
The Tide pitched a shutout, blowing out Western Kentucky by a score of 63-0.
Quarterback Jalen Milroe threw for 200 yards and three touchdowns in the win.
6. Oregon Ducks (Next Game vs. Boise State)
The Ducks looked shaky in their opening game.
Dan Lanning's team came out sluggish, beating Idaho 24-14 as 40+ point favorites.
Dillon Gabriel threw for 380 yards and two touchdowns on Saturday.
7. Ole Miss Rebels (Next Game vs. Middle Tennessee)
Ole Miss was one of the most impressive teams in week one.
Lane Kiffin's squad came out hot and never looked back, racking up a 76-0 win.
The Rebels are a 41-point favorite over Middle Tennessee on Saturday afternoon.
8. Penn State Nittany Lions (Next Game vs. Bowling Green)
James Franklin's team answered a tough road test in Morgantown last week.
Penn State went into a hostile road environment and earned an important road win.
The Nittany Lions have one of the best defenses in college football this season.
9. Miami Hurricanes (Next Game vs. Florida A&M)
The Canes went into The Swamp and dominated.
Miami picked up a commanding 41-17 win on the road.
Washington State transfer Cam Ward impressed with 385 yards and three touchdowns.
10. USC Trojans (Next Game vs. Utah State)
Lincoln Riley's team picked up one of the biggest wins of Week 1.
The Trojans took down a strong LSU team 27-20.
The most impressive part of the win was the USC defense, which held LSU to 20 points.
