The Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers will square off in an NFC North showdown on Monday night.
After falling 27-24 at home against the Philadelphia Eagles, the Packers bounced back nicely on the road last week against the Dallas Cowboys.
It was the Aaron Jones show for Green Bay (4-1). The running back had 19 carries for 107 yards and four rushing touchdowns to go along with seven receptions for 75 yards in the 34-24 victory.
Green Bay forced Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott into throwing a career-high three interceptions, and the Packers defense held running back Ezekiel Elliott to only 62 yards on 12 carries.
With the victory, the Packers took sole possession of first place in the NFC North.
The Detroit Lions, on the other hand, will look to get back to putting a tally in the win column. The Lions are coming off a bye week, but prior to it they suffered a 34-30 home loss to Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs.
Lions quarterback Matt Stafford threw for 291 yards and three touchdowns, and wide receiver Marvin Jones led the way with three receptions for 77 yards.
We’ll really figure out who the Lions are the next two weeks, as they have divisional games against the Packers followed by the Minnesota Vikings.

Kerryon Johnson, RB
There is no doubt that Detroit Lions running back Kerryon Johnson is the X-factor in this football game.
Two weeks ago, against the Kansas City Chiefs, Johnson piled up 125 yards on 26 carries, and he added 32 yards on two receptions.
There is no doubt that Johnson is the real deal, and I believe the Lions will continue to run the offense through him. So far this season, he has 251 rushing yards on 74 attempts with one score, and he has seven receptions for 99 yards and one touchdown.
The Packers are certainly vulnerable on defense when it comes to stopping the run. Against the Eagles, Green Bay allowed 176 yards on 33 carries (5.3 yards per carry) and two touchdowns.
If Detroit can do the same with Johnson, the Lions have a good chance at winning this game.

Aaron Rodgers, QB
Yes, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who has been a fantasy stud at the position in the past, hasn’t quite lived up to the hype in 2019.
The Packers are off to a 4-1 start and they are scoring points, but Rodgers only has six touchdown passes in five games. He threw for 422 yards against the Eagles two weeks ago, but he hasn’t surpassed 250 passing yards in any of the other four games. The reason for that is because the Packers are more balanced on offense with the emergence of running back Aaron Jones.
With all that said, Rodgers will throw three touchdowns this week against the Lions. Book it.
