NFL Odds: TJ Watt Closing On Defensive Player Of The Year Favorite
Aaron Donald has been the favorite for the Defensive Player Of The Year award since the off-season, and despite Myles Garrett's performances pushing him to the forefront of the conversation, it's now TJ Watt that has the momentum to win the gong.
TJ Watt has been instrumental in the Steeler's unbeaten start to the season, he's been coming off the edge and disrupting every offensive line that he's faced. This past Sunday he caused the Ravens line alot of difficulties.Â

This season he's clocked up 25 tackles, 20 of which were solo. Add to that 6.5 sacks and an interception and it's clear that he's at the upper end of the defensive end spectrum. TJ Watt is now second to win the DPOTY award at odds of just +450, having leapfrogged Cleveland's Myles Garrett.
He's still trailing Aaron Donald in the betting, who sits at +275, but if the Steelers continue to storm through the AFC then it's likely that gap will continue to close, and quickly too.
