Detroit Lions vs. Green Bay Packers: Week 1 Recap and Week 2 Preview

The Detroit Lions are coming off a tough 41-33 loss against the San Francisco 49ers in their home opener. Their Week 2 matchup is a tough one, a Monday prime time night game in Green Bay. Jared Goff had a strong Week 1 despite the pick-six he threw. Goff and the rest of the Lions must be ready to score and keep up with the shootout that the Packers usually bring.

Where the Lions need to improve is on the Defensive end, especially with the air attack they are about to face against Aaron Rodgers this Monday night. Rodgers himself told reporters that they plan to attack the Lion’s secondary. Jeff Odukah, the Lion’s first round pick and budding corner back star, ruptured his Achilles in their Week 1 game and will not be available on Monday night.

Aaron Rodgers and co. will look to have a major bounce back on Monday night after a disappointing loss to the New Orleans Saints in Jacksonville, FL. It is a long season and fans across the league expect to Rodgers and Devonte Adams to have a solid game in Week 2.

Both NFC North teams will attempt to bounce back from defeats and get back in the win column to start the 2021 season.
