Week 8 is set to get underway with the Green Bay Packers having to go on the road to take on the Arizona Cardinals. On paper, two teams who combine for a 13-1 record should be a great matchup but it’s starting to look a little one-sided with all the people from Green Bay out.

Aaron Rodgers has had a few tricks up his sleeve in the past though so it’s hard to count him out against anybody. Here are the five most popular bets for Thursday Night Football with the Arizona Cardinals vs the Green Bay Packers.

Cardinals -6.5

BetTicket%Handle%
Cardinals -6.560%69%

The public loves the Arizona Cardinals this week. 60 percent of the tickets and 69 percent of the money is on the Cardinals. Originally, the line opened at 3.5 points but with Devante Adams and some other key players out it moved up to 6.5. Both Arizona and Green Bay are 6-1 against the spread with Arizona having an impressive 15.9 margin of victory (second highest in the NFL). Their 11.8 ATS +/- is the highest in the NFL.

Under 50.5 Points

BetTicket%Handle%
Under 50.550%80%

While the tickets are coming in 50/50 the handle percentage is significantly higher on the under. 80 percent of the money is on the under. The line opened up at 52.5 and has dropped to 50.5 early this week. The two teams are combined 9-5 to the under so far this season.

DeAndre Hopkins to score 1st touchdown +650

DeAndre Hopkins is very clearly the number one target in the Arizona offense. He has seven touchdowns in seven games and four over the last three games. The odds imply a 13.3 percent chance of Hopkins getting into the endzone first.

Packers to win and both teams score 20+ points (+425)

If you’re a believer in Aaron Rodgers then this is the bet for you. Arizona has eclipsed 20 in all but one game this season (they’ve also actually eclipsed 30 in all but one game this year) and since the three-point performance in Week 1, the Packers have known gone over 20 points each of the past six games.

Zach Ertz to score on anytime touchdown (+165)

Zach Ertz looked good in his Cardinals debut. He caught three passes on five targets for 66 yards and a score. He might not be the guy that he once was but he’s proving to be a productive player especially since making the switch over from Philadelphia to the Cardinals. If Ertz were to score tonight that would be three weeks in a row with a touchdown.
