Week 10 of the NFL is set to get started tonight with the Baltimore Ravens traveling to Miami to take on the Dolphins. Miami finally ended their seven-game losing streak by beating the Houston Texans in a 17-9 battle. With Tua Tagovailoa banged up and not at 100 percent it could be a long night for the Dolphins.

Baltimore is at the opposite end of the spectrum holding the second-best record in the AFC at 6-2. Their defense isn’t very good but right now Lamar Jackson is playing his way into the MVP conversation as Baltimore has the fifth-best offense in terms of yards and 12th in points.

Today, we’ll be looking at the five most popular bets from this AFC matchup.

Baltimore Ravens -7.5

Ravens -7.588%87%

The public absolutely loves the Ravens and I get it. You have one of the better offenses going up against a team with a putrid defense and a quarterback who isn’t fully healthy. Sure, Baltimore is 0-4 against the spread when 6.5 point favorites or more but sometimes the trends don’t tell the full story. While Miami is okay against the run, right around the middle of the pack, they just bleed yardage through the air. They’ve allowed the third-most passing yards per game against.

Over 46.5 points

Over 46.5 Points56%62%

The Baltimore Ravens are 5-3 to the over this year and in three of their last four games, they’ve hit the 46.5 point number. Miami hasn’t had as much luck playing to the over at just 4-5 but when you consider the matchup for this Dolphins defense, it very well could be a long night for them. Plus, they may only need to score 13-16 points to clear this number.

Marquise Brown over 56.5 receiving yards (-130)

Year three of Hollywood Brown has been the best version of Hollywood so far. He has 682 receiving yards in eight games so far this year. Maybe it’s the switch from number 15 to 5? Anyway, he’s cleared 56.5 yards in six of eight games ths year and in four of his last five. The Dolphins give up yards in the passing game like it’s going out of style, this one makes sense.

Salvon Ahmed over 13.5 rushing yards (-125)

13.5 rushing yards sounds doable for Salvon Ahmed against this defense. Before last week’s six yards on four carries disaster, he was at 20 or more yards the previous three weeks. Ahmed is averaging just 2.6 yards per attempt on the season so tread lightly with this bet, even at only 13.5 yards.

Lamar Jackson over 229.5 passing yards (-135)

Run, and I mean run to your book for this one. So far this year, Lamar Jackson is averaging 276.1 passing yards per game a career-high for him. In fact, there was only one game this year where he has come under 220 yards through the air and that was in the Ravens blowout win over the Chargers. Sure, in games where teams are expected to win by a lot there’s always a fear that the quarterback won’t throw as much as expected but 229.5 is still an extremely reasonable number for Lamar. The Dolphins allow the third-most pass yards per game with an average of 280.9 yards against.
