Just when you thought it was time to get ready for baseball season, the NFL once again proved why it's king.

On Monday, the Atlanta Falcons traded franchise QB Matt Ryan to the Indianapolis Colts for a third-round pick in this year's NFL Draft. the move didn't have a ton of impact on the Falcons' odds, seeing as they were expected to be bad this season. But, it did impact the Colts' odds.

As we already outlined, the Colts Super Bowl odds went from +3500 to +2500 in a matter of seconds once the trade was announced. Another place we saw odds movement is in their AFC South odds.

Prior to Monday's trade for Matt Ryan, the Colts were the second favorite, behind the Tennessee Titans, to win the division. Now, with Ryan under center for this season, the Colts are tied with the Titans as the AFC South favorites.

It's been quite some time since the Indianapolis Colts won the AFC South, eight years to be exact. From 2002 to 2014, the Colts dominated the division, but it hasn't been that way for quite some time.

On Sunday, the Colts were +150 to win the conference, good for second and just a little bit behind the Titans, who had +120 odds to do the same. However, the Matt Ryan trade has slashed the Colts' odds.
