2022 NFL Draft Travon Walker Draft Position Odds: Will Walker go in the Top 3?

In the last few weeks, Travon Walker has been a riser in the NFL Draft process. Playing for Georgia, he recorded six sacks and 7.5 tackles for a loss. He was someone initially who was thought of as a late first rounder or early second rounder and is now given a 69.7% chance to go in the top three of the draft.

Here's what oddsmakers have to say about Travon Walker draft odds and where he is anticipated to get drafted.

Oddsmakers anticipate to see Walker come off the board in the first three picks. NFL teams love the potential that he displays. At Georgia, he played most of his reps on the inside but he can also likely transition to edge as well. The thought would be for him to be someone who moves around the defensive line a lot.

Those who believe in RAS score and measurables will absolutely fawn over Travon Walker, and it's easy to see why with his measurables and impressive speed.

My issue with taking Walker so high is that he isn't fully developed as a pass rusher. As I previously mentioned that a lot of that is projection-based but he is an excellent run stopper. He has the feel of a 3-4 defensive end at the next level so not exactly a DT and not a speed edge guy.

I would be stunned to see him come off the board first overall over Aidan Hutchinson even though Walker is second behind Hutch with +200 odds. With the recent hype and the strong test, I know it's not great value but I would be stunned if he makes it past pick three.
