2022 NFL Draft Charles Cross Draft Position Odds: Will Cross Make it Past the Panthers?
Charles Cross, out of Mississippi State, is one of the best offensive tackles in this draft class. One thing we know about the NFL and more specifically the NFL Draft, is these teams put a priority on offensive tackle. Outside of the quarterback position, you could make the case that offensive tackle is the next most important position in the sport.
Anyway, how early will we see Cross come off the board? Here's a look at Charles Cross draft position odds:

Charles Cross Draft Position Odds
Charles Cross is likely a step behind Evan Neal and Ikem Ekwonu but not by much. You have the same odds for both the over and the under here at 7.5. What helps Cross is his pure strength as a two-year starter in the SEC.
Many scouts predict that he can play either left or right tackle which makes him an appealing choice for any team. To me, the biggest question is if he makes it past the Panthers at pick six.

My guess is both Ikem Ekwonu and Evan Neal go in the top five which would then put the Panthers on the clock with Charles Cross as the best tackle available. To me, the only two positions Carolina could go is quarterback or offensive line. Will they run it back with Sam Darnold again and go all in or will they draft a developmental guy like Malik Willis or Kenny Pickett?
Regardless, Cross is an excellent prospect who won't last much longer if he does make it to his over here.
