Deshaun Watson Suspension Increased to 11 Games by the NFL
The NFL and NFLPA has reached an agreement on Deshaun Watson. After an arbitrator initially offered a six game suspension it became pretty obvious that the NFL was going to to try to get that longer.
According to Adam Schefter, Watson will be suspended for 11 games and a fine of $5 million will go to charity.

Ironically, Watson is slated to return in Week 13 against none other than the Houston Texans, the team that spent a first round pick on him in 2017. Here's a look at the remaining regular season games for the Browns at the point of the return.
- Week 13 @ Houston
- Week 14 @ Cincinnati
- Week 15 vs. Baltimore
- Week 16 vs. New Orleans
- Week 17 @ Washington
- Week 18 @ Pittsburgh
That's a total of six regular season games that Watson has the chance to play this year. Currently, Cleveland has Jacoby Brissett slated to start in his absence.
Brissett started five games for the Dolphins last year going 2-3 with 5 passing touchdowns and four interceptions. The last time he started before that was in 2019 for the Indianapolis Colts when he went 7-8 as a starter throwing for 196.1 yards per game, 18 touchdowns, and six interceptions.
The Browns will be without their new franchise quarterback for more than half the season now. We'll see if they check in on Jimmy Garappolo to hold down the fort until he gets back but as of now, it's 11 games without Watson.
