The reigning AFC Champions had a horrid start to their season as they lost their first two games of the year to the lowly Pittsburgh Steelers and the Cooper Rush-led Dallas Cowboys. However, it appears that Zac Taylor's club has righted the ship as the team has secured victories over the likes of the shockingly good New York Jets in addition to the Miami Dolphins, and most recently, the New Orleans Saints, this past weekend.
Meanwhile, the Atlanta Falcons have been the best team in the entire National Football League to bet the spread. Holding just a 3-3 actual record this season, Arthur Smith's squad is an unblemished 6-0 ATS to start their 2022-23 campaign. With this one's spread at a pretty big number, there's no reason to believe Marcus Mariota and co. can't once again do the same, regardless of if they bring home the win or not. However, while it certainly hasn't looked pretty at times, the Bengals are a solid 4-2 ATS this season, which could lead bettors to believe the better football team may just be the way to go, especially if you're of the belief that the Falcons run of beating the spread has to come to an end at some point.
