Not many people, if any at all, predicted that the Philadelphia Eagles would be entering Week 10 of the NFL season with an unbeaten 9-0 record. But, here we are with that as the reality of the situation. So, it's no surprise that Eagles vs. Commanders odds are quite lopsided, along with the betting data.
Not only are the Eagles unbeaten and looking like a real Super Bowl contender, but their quarterback, Jalen Hurts, has inserted himself into the NFL MVP conversation, sitting atop the odds board tied as the favorite with Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes.
As for Washington, it's been a little bit of an up-and-down season. With Carson Wentz under center, the team looked sort of lost. But, since Taylor Heinicke has taken over as signal caller the Commanders have been much more competent.

The latest odds and point spread all heavily favor the Eagles to come out on top during Monday Night Football, and for good reason. The Eagles and Commanders already played once this season. It was a road game for the Birds but that didn't stop them from dominating on both offense and defense.
So, this week, on Monday Night Football, Eagles vs. Commanders odds have the Eagles as 11-point favorites and -490 on the moneyline.
As for the latest betting breakdown, bettors seem to be torn. Right now, according to our friends at DraftKings, 88% of all moneyline bets on this game have backed the Eagles. However, 58% of the bets on the point spread have come in on the Commanders to cover the 11 points.

It's been hard to find much of a weakness with this year's Philadelphia Eagles team and I'm not entirely sure this Washington Commanders team is going to be the team to crack the code.
On offense, the Eagles likely have the most talented roster in the NFL. Not only do they have one of the best offensive lines in football, but their WR duo of AJ Brown and Devonta Smith is likely the top pair in the league as well. Add Miles Sanders to the running game and Dallas Goedert as their tight end and you can see what has made them so hard to slow down this season.
Not to mention, Jalen Hurts has taken real steps as a QB and a passer this year. Last year, Hurts' timing on routes was not as sharp as it needed to be and it caused him to underthrow deep balls and miss windows in the intermediate pass game. This year, Hurts has been on time with almost all his throws and in turn, has transformed into one of the best QBs in football.
The unfortunate part for Washington is that I don't think they have the defensive skill players to line up with Philadelphia. They can't cover the Eagles man-to-man and they don't have the ability to stop the Eagles' run game.

It's a division rivalry, so I tend to think this game stays within 10 points and the Commanders cover, that's my official pick, but I don't think Washington has anything that can give the Eagles issues on either side of the ball.
On offense, Terry McLaurin is a certified stud, but we're still waiting for a WR to have success on this Eagles secondary this season. They shut down Justin Jefferson, they shut down McLaurin in the first meeting and they locked up CeeDee Lamb.
The one place the Eagles are vulnerable seems to be the run game while Jordan Davis is out with an injury. But, I don't think the Washington defense will be able to slow the Eagles offense enough to allow the Commanders to run the ball with any real volume.
