Fantasy Football Buy Low, Sell High: 12 Buy/Sell Candidates Ahead of Week 16

Most leagues aren't allowing any trading. Chances are that your fantasy football league is in the middle of the playoffs. Therefore, you will likely not be able to trade in your league. However, there are still some unorthodox leagues out there that allow trading year-round. There are also leagues like dynasty and keeper leagues that will open trading back up after the season concludes. But if you're in a league that still allows trading heading into Week 16, listen up! Here are many buy-low and sell-high candidates going into Week 16.

Is your fantasy team losing week after week that no trade can save it? Or is your team so good but you still like free money? Click here for over $5000 in sportsbook offers and promos!

Fantasy Football Players to Buy Low in Week 16

Gardner Minshew, QB, Philadelphia Eagles

Jalen Hurts is likely out for the rest of the regular season. Now Gardner Minshew will take over as QB1 with a team with just one loss this entire season.

Minshew is an experienced quarterback with a tremendous offensive line and plenty of playmakers around him. He should be fine. Add Minshew to your lineup if you need a quarterback in the playoffs with the Hurts news. He won't get all the rushing yards, but he can still have quality performances.

Zack Moss, RB, Indianapolis Colts

Zack Moss could make or break your fantasy playoff team with Jonathan Taylor out for the year. That sounds crazy, but it's true.

Moss saw 24 carries for 81 yards and played 67% of the snaps. He'll probably get closer to 70% or higher in the next few weeks. With that volume, he's a true flex play, even in the playoffs.

Tyler Allgeier, RB, Atlanta Falcons

The Falcons' offense is starting to shape up. It's not lethal. But they've got Desmond Ridder at quarterback, Drake London at wide receiver, and Kyle Pitts (when healthy) at tight end.

They've also got Tyler Allgeier at running back. He had his best performance of his rookie season, adding 139 yards and a touchdown last week against the Saints. He only saw 49% of snaps, but after a game like that, his workload will likely increase as the Falcons continue to play meaningful football down the stretch.

Juwan Johnson, TE, New Orleans Saints

You should feel confident with Juwan Johnson if you're streaming tight ends. Johnson had six targets last weekend and caught two touchdowns. The touchdowns won't be every week, but Dalton often looks for him around the end zone when he plays.

After all, he's got seven touchdowns on the season and two weeks with multiple touchdowns.

Additional Fantasy Football Buy Low Players

  • Trevor Lawrence, QB, Jacksonville Jaguars
  • Zay Jones, WR, Jacksonville Jaguars

Fantasy Football Players to Sell High Before Week 16

Marquise Goodwin, WR, Seattle Seahawks

Goodwin will be the No. 2 receiver, with Tyler Lockett missing this week's game. If you scooped him up, I still don't think he's a reliable pass catcher for your fantasy playoff team.

Get something else for Goodwin and tell your trade partner about his "potential" opportunities.

K.J. Osborn, WR, Minnesota Vikings

Osborn added ten catches on 16 targets for 157 yards and a touchdown. He's now caught a touchdown in his last two games.

Don't overreact. The Vikings have had to throw the ball around over the last two weeks because they've been trailing early. Osborn isn't going to be putting up these numbers very often. Get rid of him while he's hot.

Noah Brown, WR, Dallas Cowboys

Noah Brown caught two touchdowns last week on nine targets. That was the first game he' shad nine targets since Week 1, when the Cowboys didn't have CeeDee Lamb.

That trend of targets will not continue, especially against Philadelphia.

Evan Engram, TE, Jacksonville Jaguars

Only if Engram is on your bench should you trade him. After back-to-back weeks with at least ten targets, Engram is coming on as of late. He's added 17 catches in the last two weeks and three touchdowns over the last three weeks.

You can beef up the rest of your team if Engram is on your bench. If you have tight ends like Travis Kelce starting, trade Engram.
