The Super Bowl MVP is one of the more prestigious awards in the NFL.
When you win the Most Valuable Player award, not only were you the best player in that game, but your team also won the Super Bowl.
There's so much to be excited about when that happens.
Right now, Jalen Hurts has the highest probability of winning the award. The quarterback wins this award most of the time when his team wins the Super Bowl. Because the Eagles are favorites to win the game, Hurts has a higher probability.
But Chiefs quarterback, Patrick Mahomes, isn't far behind.
Below, we've ranked the top five Super Bowl LVII MVP candidates.

Ranking the Top 5 Super Bowl MVP Candidates
5. Miles Sanders, RB, Eagles (Bet Miles Sanders to be Super Bowl MVP at +3000. BetMGM has the best odds)
Miles Sanders is listed at +2200 to win the MVP this season. The Eagles will certainly run the ball a lot against the Chiefs. Kansas City's run defense has been bad at times this year. That's the one area where Philadelphia can exploit the Chiefs.
But Sanders will have to earn his carries. Jalen Hurts will get his and Kenneth Gainwell and Boston Scott will likely earn some carries too. That's why it'd be hard for Sanders to earn the award if he's sharing carries with three other players.

Next on the list is A.J. Brown at +1200 odds.
Brown hasn't made much of an impact in the postseason this year. But he made a significant impact for the Eagles throughout the regular season.
If he's healthier in the Super Bowl, look for Jalen Hurts and A.J. Brown to get back on the same page. Brown has only caught seven of 14 balls thrown his way in the postseason. But those two should clean that up a bit, and Brown should start earning more receptions on plays thrown his way.
The volume is still good, regardless.

If a quarterback doesn't win the award, it will likely be Travis Kelce winning it.
Kelce has had 21 catches on 25 targets in the postseason. He's also added three touchdowns and is playing against his brother, Jason, in the Super Bowl.
The storylines about the Kelce's haven't stopped throughout the Super Bowl promotion. If Kelce adds over 100 yards and a touchdown or two, he could seriously beat out Patrick Mahomes for the MVP award.
2. Patrick Mahomes, QB, Chiefs (Bet Patrick Mahomes to be Super Bowl MVP at +135. BetMGM has the best odds)
If the Chiefs win, Mahomes will likely win the MVP award. He threw for 41 touchdowns this season and 5,250 yards, which led the NFL in both categories.
His QBR of 77.5 was also the best in the NFL.
Mahomes is super crafty, but with a bad ankle, he's not moving as well as he'd like. He'll have to get the ball out quicker and won't have much time in the pocket against that Eagles front.
Still, Mahomes threw for 326 yards against the Bengals in a close game and didn't throw a single interception in the two games he's played in during the postseason.

Hurts has the highest probability of winning the award because the Eagles have a higher probability of defeating the Chiefs on Sunday.
Hurts has thrown two touchdowns and has rushed for two more during the postseason. He's led the Eagles to back-to-back blowout wins in the postseason but got a bit lucky when Brocky Purdy got hurt.
Either way, the Eagles ending up in the Super Bowl isn't luck. They've been the best team in the NFC, and Hurts is proving he's a franchise quarterback who can lead the Eagles to multiple Super Bowls. This is his first chance.
