Ranking the Top 5 Defensive Players in Super Bowl 57

5. Justin Reid, S, Chiefs (Bet Justin Reid player props right now. Caesars has the best odds)

Justin Reid is the starting safety for the Chiefs this season. He didn't earn any interceptions or fumbles this year, but he's added 13 total tackles in two playoff games. He's been all over the place lately and had 83 tackles throughout the season.

He added one sack earlier this year, but likely won't be sacking Jalen Hurts on Sunday.

4. Nick Bolton, LB, Chiefs (Bet Nick Bolton player props right now. BetMGM has the best odds)

Nick Bolton has been a tackling machine throughout the season. He combined 14 total tackles in two postseason games and had 108 solo tackles throughout the regular season.

Bolton earned two interceptions and a forced fumble earlier in the regular season. Plus, he also added two sacks.

Against Seattle, he had 18 total tackles. Versus Las Vegas, he totaled 16 tackles as the season ended.

Bolton deserves to be on this list.

3. Darius Slay, CB, Eagles (Bet Darius Slay to be Super Bowl MVP at +15000. PointsBet has the best odds)

Darius Slay is the best cornerback on the Eagles and could be one of the best in the game. He had three interceptions and 14 pass deflections. His numbers aren't higher because quarterbacks try to throw the ball elsewhere most of the time.

Slay has 26 career interceptions and 132 career pass deflections. He also has a sack and two touchdowns in his career.

2. Haason Reddick, LB, Eagles (Bet Haason Reddick to be Super Bowl MVP at +3500. DraftKings has the best odds)

Haason Reddick has earned 16 sacks this year, tied for second in the NFL. He's also recorded five forced fumbles and has 35 solo tackles this season.

Reddick has added eight tackles and 3.5 sacks in two games throughout the postseason. He also had a fumble forced and recovered that fumble last weekend against the 49ers.

Reddick is why the Eagles are so dominant on the defensive line.

1. Chris Jones, DT, Chiefs (Bet Chris Jones to be Super Bowl MVP at +4000. DraftKings has the best odds)

Chris Jones makes the same impact that Reddick has made. Jones finished the 2022 season with 15.5 sacks and two forced fumbles. You'll see Jones on the edge of the defensive line as a defensive tackle.

The Chiefs will put Jones wherever they can to give him the best advantage possible. Jones finished the AFC Championship game with two sacks and four total tackles. The impact that he makes on a given play or drive is just astounding.

Jones rarely goes a game without earning a sack. For a defensive tackle to put up defensive end numbers is incredible. Look out for 95 on the Chiefs.
