Super Bowl National Anthem Odds and Prop Bets

The most traditional prop is the length of the Anthem, with sportsbooks setting the over/under at 127 seconds this year. The over is heavily favored at -160 or an implied 61.5% chance, while the under is given +120 odds or an implied 45.5% chance.

To take things a step further sportsbooks are offering an over/under on how length of the word brave this year. The initial over/under is being set at five seconds with the over as the heavy favorite at -200 or an implied 66.6% chance. The under is at +150 or an implied 40% chance.

There are odds on whether any words will be omitted. The heavy favorite is No at -3000 or an implied 96.8% chance. You could even bet on whether or not there will be a scoring drive that takes less time than the National Anthem, and the sportsbooks believe there will be at -400 or an implied 80% chance.

There is even odds on who will be shown first on the screen. Jason or Tavis Kelce? Travis is the heavy favorite at -180. Andy Reid or Nick Sirianni? Reid is the favorite at -130. Mahomes or Hurts? Mahomes is favored at -150 odds.

There are a few things that are interesting here. First, the fact that the sportsbooks have the Chiefs players/coaches appearing on screen first in every instance is interesting. Especially since the Eagles are favored to win the game.

As for the actual National Anthem odds, the over is always favored. You just got to ask if you believe that Chris Stapleton is the kind of artist who’d milk the National Anthem. The sportsbooks expect a scoring drive to happen in less than two minutes. Could happen for sure but expected?
