2023 NFL Draft Betting Odds: Will Levis Draft Odds

The 2023 NFL Draft is scheduled to begin on Thursday, April 27, from Kansas City, Missouri. Will Levis entered the draft as one of the more underrated and unknown prospects in the 2023 draft class, but he's begun to ascend every day the NFL draft approaches.

Bryce Young and C.J. Stroud have been the undisputed top quarterbacks in the 2023 draft class, but Levis has potentially made a late push to leapfrog both on Thursday night. There's been a lot of noise surrounding Levis being linked to the Indianapolis Colts, for instance, who are currently drafting fourth overall. In addition, speculative social media accounts generated steam on Levis' odds as the first overall pick earlier in the week, so will this information be validated, or is it simply a viral smoke screen?

Levis is currently +600 to be the No. 1 overall pick, so let's look at the 2023 NFL Draft odds and prop markets for Will Levis ahead of Thursday night.

Will Will Levis Be The First Overall Pick?

Levis has reportedly had great interviews throughout the draft process, which has improved his stock in terms of being taken with the first overall pick by the Carolina Panthers. The 6'4, 229-pound signal-caller transferred from Penn State after losing the quarterback competition to Sean Clifford, but he had two productive seasons in the SEC with the Kentucky Wildcats, logging a 148.3 passer rating during his junior year in 2021 while slightly improving to a 151.9 passer rating in 2022.

His athleticism and physical ability to handle plays as the primary ball carrier was proven in 2021 when Levis recorded nine rushing touchdowns and ran 107 carries for 376 yards. In 2022, he had three games with at least three passing touchdowns, one fewer than his junior season. A loss to Mississippi in Week 5 derailed their momentum, as Levis lost three of the final five games to close out his collegiate career. Nevertheless, he's got a lot of potential with the right coaching, so perhaps Frank Reich will shake things up and take Levis under his tutelage with the retooled Panthers roster in 2023.

Who Will Be The 2nd Overall Pick At The 2023 NFL Draft?

Levis' odds grow much shorter after getting 6/1 as the first overall pick in the draft, with the value cut in half at 3/1 at second overall. Houston needs to upgrade the quarterback position at No. 2. Still, they also have the 12th overall pick to lean on, which gives first-year head coach Demeco Ryans and GM Nick Caserio a bit of creativity and leeway with how they handle the start to their draft.

Tyree Wilson is a defensive end out of Texas Tech that has become the top defensive player in the draft based on the latest odds. At the same time, the other premiere edge rusher in this class, Will Anderson, sits at 3/1 alongside Levis. No one has heard any rumors out of the Texans' front office, so it's a bit of a mystery right now, but Levis has usurped C.J. Stroud in the odds race, which few would've predicted at the beginning of the draft process.

Who Will Be The 3rd Overall Pick At The 2023 NFL Draft?

Levis' odds grow longer at the 3rd overall pick, likely due to the Arizona Cardinals having multiple weaknesses to address. Kyler Murray is rehabbing a torn ACL and won't be available for the start of the 2023 season, which means the Cardinals' new GM and head coach will be facing some tough decisions. Head coach Jonathan Gannon comes over as the Eagles' former DC, so that explains why Will Anderson has the shortest odds to be taken third overall at +200.

Murray reportedly likes offensive tackle Paris Johnson Jr. out of Ohio State, which is why his implied chances are at 20 percent. At the same time, C.J. Stroud has lower odds and a higher probability of going here at third overall than the 9/1 odds Levis is getting. Perhaps sportsbook markets believe a quarterback-needy team will trade up for this pick. This explains why Stroud is projected over Levis, who many initially predicted would fall during the draft.

Which Team Will Draft Will Levis In The 2023 NFL Draft?

Predicting which team will invest their draft capital in Will Levis is difficult. Levis has the shortest odds to be taken at fourth overall at +130, which is where the Indianapolis Colts are presently slated to draft. This has been the most frequent reporting regarding where Levis will land on Thursday night, as GM Chris Ballard tends to be patient during the draft and doesn't aggressively trade up.

Is this due to the Colts expecting Stroud to be off the board by the time the top three picks are completed? Or do Ballard and first-year head coach Shane Steichen see value and significant upside with Levis' size and frame? Based on the number of teams drafting in the top ten who need to upgrade the quarterback position, Levis should not fall past the Atlanta Falcons at eighth overall. However, whether it's the Seattle Seahawks at fifth, Detroit Lions at sixth, or the Las Vegas Raiders at seventh, Levis has the tools and build that have many pundits viewing him similarly to Josh Allen. Based on the latest odds, Levis going fourth overall to the Colts appears to be his future destination.
