Fantasy Football Buy Low, Sell High: 12 Trade Candidates Ahead of Week 8

Who should you be trading for in fantasy football? Week 7 of the 2023 NFL season has ended. Jason Radowitz breaks down Week 7 of Fantasy Football and gives you 12 trade candidates ahead of Week 8 of the 2022 NFL season.

Fantasy Football Buy Low, Sell High: 12 Trade Candidates Ahead of Week 8

We've seen it all this year in fantasy football!

Some of the least notable players have done outstanding, while we're still waiting for other players to achieve their expectations.

It might be time to cut your losses and look in a different direction before Week 8 begins.

Did you embarrass your friends in Fantasy or are they embarrassing you after NFL Week 7? Lucky for you, we have over $5,000 in free bets in bonuses to use on the NFL! Even if your fantasy team is sucking, you can still brag about winning money!

Fantasy Football Players to Buy Low in Week 8

Josh Jacobs, RB, Las Vegas Raiders

Josh Jacobs went from one of the best running backs in the NFL to one of the worst. He's only averaged 2.9 yards per carry and has two touchdowns through the first seven games.

But it's hard to come by running backs that can get about 20 carries per game. He will typically get around 20 attempts.

Jacobs can only really improve from here. After last year's performance, I believe he'll turn it around.

Bijan Robinson, RB, Atlanta Falcons

Is someone mad that they lost last week's fantasy matchup because Bijan Robinson had a headache?

If so, grab him now.

The fantasy owner who trades away Robinson will be the one with the longer-lasting headache.

James Cook, RB, Buffalo Bills

James Cook found the end zone against the Patriots. But it wasn't on the ground, it was in the air.

Cook has averaged 4.8 yards per carry but has just two touchdowns this season. Some fantasy owners are getting a little impatient with Cook.

He's running well and involved in many plays, but he's not involved in the goal line this year. His share will come!

James Cook to be bought low? Say Less. Make sure you're hammering Cook prop bets at DraftKings right now!

Rhamondre Stevenson, RB, New England Patriots

We finally saw some glimpses of what Rhamondre Stevenson can do this year.

Although he only rushed nine times for 34 yards against the Bills, he hauled in six catches on six targets for 51 yards.

He's earned 11 catches and 12 targets over the last two weeks and even had a touchdown against the Raiders in the previous game.

If he will be used in the passing game, it's time to add him to your roster.

Additional Fantasy Football Buy Low Players

  • Kyler Murray, QB, Arizona Cardinals
  • Austin Ekeler, RB, Los Angeles Chargers

Fantasy Football Players to Sell High Before Week 8

Rachaad White, RB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

White has earned at least 13 carries in all but one game this season. He was also used heavily in the passing game last week, with six catches on six targets.

But he's only scored one touchdown. To win fantasy leagues, you need to score. White hasn't done that.

He averaged 2.6 yards per carry against the Falcons, the second-lowest output this season.

Point to the targets and get rid of White.

Jahmyr Gibbs, RB, Detroit Lions

While Gibbs has rushed for nearly five yards per carry, he's someone who is only benefitting while David Montgomery is out.

Once Montgomery returns, Gibbs won't be the workhorse and earn all the reps like he did last weekend.

Against the Ravens, the Lions found themselves trailing by a hefty score. Therefore, Gibbs got a lot of receptions and scored a garbage-time touchdown in the run game.

He touched the ball 20 times and had more than 100 yards between rushing and receiving. But this isn't going to happen every week. Sell him while he's hot.

Alvin Kamara, RB, New Orleans Saints

Like Gibbs, Kamara saw 14 targets and 12 receptions last weekend. However, he rushed for just 3.6 yards per carry despite earning 17 carries.

His volume figures to decrease as Jamaal Williams gets settled in. Williams could even sneak in some goal-line carries to take away touchdowns from Kamara.

I'd get rid of Kamara while he's scorching hot.

Kareem Hunt, RB, Cleveland Browns

The best time to trade Kareem Hunt is when he's the starting running back for the Browns. If someone is desperate for a running back, now's the time to deal Hunt.

Hunt has earned three touchdowns in the last two games. But he's still averaged just 3.2 yards per carry. We don't know who the quarterback is week-to-week with Deshaun Watson's availability.

I'd trade Hunt if you can get something better long-term.

Can the Browns continue to dominate? Well, FanDuel is the place to bet on Kareem Hunt props right now!

Additional Fantasy Football Sell High Players

  • Darren Waller, TE, New York Giants
  • Gus Edwards, RB, Baltimore Ravens
