Here are 20 players that you should start or sit for this week's NFL fantasy lineup.

Quarterbacks To Play in Week 8
1. C.J. Stroud, Houston Texans
2. Kirk Cousins, Minnesota Vikings
C.J. Stroud is ready to face a winless Carolina Panthers team to prove that he's a better quarterback prospect than Bryce Young. While Stroud didn't play his best game against the Saints in Week 6, he did enough to earn the win, proving his maturity and development from the start of the season.
On the other hand, Kirk Cousins didn't miss a beat on Monday Night Football after a dominant performance against the 49ers. He threw for 378 yards and two touchdowns, along with one interception. He'll have a solid matchup against Green Bay this week.

Quarterbacks To Sit in Week 8
3. Matthew Stafford, Los Angeles Rams
4. Jordan Love, Green Bay Packers
5. Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys
It was thought that Matthew Stafford would have a field day throwing the football, knowing the Rams didn't have any reliable running backs against the Steelers last week. Instead, he completed just 14 passes on 29 pass attempts. I'd sit him on the road against the Cowboys.
On the other hand, until Jordan Love looks better, you can't play him. The Packers have a lot of talent on that offense, but Love and the Packers aren't clicking after struggling against the Denver defense last weekend.
Finally, Dak Prescott is a mid-tier quarterback who could succeed against the Rams' secondary. But there are better options out there, as I stated above.
Running Backs To Play in Week 8
6. Jahmyr Gibbs, Detroit Lions
7. D'Onta Foreman, Los Angeles Chargers
8. Darrell Henderson Jr., Los Angeles Rams
Although Jahmyr Gibbs has a low floor with the Lions, his ceiling is also extremely high. When the Lions fell to the Ravens early last week, Gibbs earned a lot of catches and yards. As long as David Montgomery is out, Gibbs is a must-play.
The same goes for D'Onta Foreman. As long as Khalil Herbert and Roschon Johnson are out, Foreman must be in your starting lineup after three total touchdowns last weekend against the Raiders.
Finally, it's clear that Darrell Henderson Jr. is the No. 1 running back for the Rams, with Kyren Williams and Ronnie Rivers injured. Henderson saw 18 carries for 61 yards and scored against the Steelers. Play him this weekend against the Cowboys.

Running Backs To Sit in Week 8
9. Tyler Allgeier, Atlanta Falcons
10. Rachaad White, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Don't worry... Bijan Robinson will be back next week. Tyler Allgeier likely won't see over 20 carries this weekend against the Titans.
Meanwhile, Rachaad White earned 13 carries for just 34 yards last weekend. He's now 28th in points for running backs despite his 22 catches for 163 yards.
Wide Receivers To Play in Week 8
11. Adam Thielen, Carolina Panthera
12. Jordan Addison, Minnesota Vikings
Adam Thielen is a true No. 1 receiver. He'd finish 7th in fantasy football for wide receivers this season and is coming off 11 catches for 115 yards against the Dolphins before last week's bye week. That stat line also included a touchdown. Against the Texans, he's got another favorable matchup.
Meanwhile, Jordan Addison finally came through with 123 yards and two touchdowns for the Vikings on Monday Night. He's a must-play while Justin Jefferson is out.
Wide Receivers To Sit in Week 8
13. Josh Downs, Indianapolis Colts
14. Jerry Jeudy, Denver Broncos
15. Rashee Rice, Kansas City Chiefs
Josh Downs had five catches on six targets for 125 yards. He also added a touchdown and finished as one of the best receivers in the NFL last week in fantasy points.
He hadn't finished in the top 15 throughout the season and has had more games with under 40 yards than 60 yards. Against the Saints' defense, I'm out on Downs.
Meanwhile, Jerry Jeudy hasn't scored a single touchdown this season. That's the most crucial part of fantasy football.
Finally, Rashee Rice has caught a touchdown in two of his last three games. But he hasn't broken out as the leading receiver for the Chiefs. Kansas City typically struggles to move the ball down the field against Denver. I wouldn't start Rice here.
Tight Ends To Play in Week 8
16. Darren Waller, New York Giants
17. Dalton Kincaid, Buffalo Bills
Darren Waller finally proved why he was selected within the top five tight ends this season. He finished with seven catches on eight targets last weekend against the Commanders and added 98 receiving yards and a touchdown. That's what you can expect from Waller in most games the rest of the way.
On the other hand, Dalton Kincaid will likely start to see more looks moving forward. The Bills have to adjust somewhere. Finding Kincaid would help the offense in a big way.

Tight Ends To Sit in Week 8
18. Logan Thomas, Washington Commanders
19. Luke Musgrave, Green Bay Packers
20. David Njoku, Cleveland Browns
Logan Thomas has only finished inside the top ten in fantasy one time. He's had more games with three or fewer receptions than four or more. Thomas' matchup against Philadelphia isn't too exciting.
Conversely, it's hard to trust any Packers players until we get more production out of the offense. Musgrave included.
While I know David Njoku got a lot of targets last weekend, he's also yet to score a touchdown. The Browns don't even know who their quarterback is half the time—no thanks on Njoku. There are better options out there.
