So much happened in the NFL over the weekend. We lost quite a few quarterbacks to injuries and watched many top-tier teams perform poorly in their games last weekend.
We'll reflect all of that in our 2023 NFL Power Rankings for Week 9.
2023 NFL Power Rankings
1. Philadelphia Eagles
There's no team better than the Eagles right now. Philadelphia only has one loss all year. However, the Eagles can't overlook the Cowboys at home this weekend. That's going to be a huge rivalry matchup with a lot of implications.
2. Jacksonville Jaguars
Can Jacksonville get more credit? They've won five straight games through multiple games in London, a Thursday Night Football game, and a road game against Pittsburgh. The Jaguars are legitimate.
3. Baltimore Ravens
Baltimore's best game didn't come last weekend against the Cardinals. But this is a league where you must find ways to win. The Ravens did just that and are now 6-2 on the season.
4. Miami Dolphins
The Dolphins won last weekend against the Patriots, 31-17. Now they'll have the Chiefs in Germany on Sunday morning.
5. Kansas City Chiefs
Kansas City's loss to the Broncos was embarrassing. But it was a road game in cold temperatures, with Mahomes feeling under the weather. Don't panic!
6. Detroit Lions
The Lions finally used Jahmyr Gibbs correctly and defeated the Las Vegas Raiders 26-14. Gibbs needs to stay in the game plan for the Lions after the bye week. We'll see what the Lions decide to do.
7. Dallas Cowboys
The Cowboys are inconsistent. But their win against the Rams last week was brilliant. A matchup against the Eagles this weekend should be entertaining.
8. Cincinnati Bengals
Joe Burrow looks healthy again. That's massive news for Cincinnati. The Bengals are back over .500 for the first time this season and are favorites against the Bills at home on Sunday.
9. Buffalo Bills
The Bills earned a win on Thursday Night Football last week. But now they'll have to prepare for a much improved Bengals squad on Sunday Night Football.
10. San Francisco 49ers
The Niners have lost three straight games. The defense has struggled uncharacteristically, while Brock Purdy is busy throwing interceptions consistently.
11. Seattle Seahawks
12. New Orleans Saints
13. New York Jets
14. Minnesota Vikings
Without Kirk Cousins and Justin Jefferson, who will step up for the Vikings? At 4-4, the Vikings are still a playoff contender.
15. Cleveland Browns
16. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
17. Houston Texans
18. Atlanta Falcons
19. Tennessee Titans
Maybe Will Levis will be the legitimate difference for the Tennessee Titans moving forward after earning the Titans a win in his first NFL start.
20. Pittsburgh Steelers
21. Los Angeles Chargers
22. Indianapolis Colts
23. Los Angeles Rams
With the uncertainty of Matthew Stafford's injury, the Rams are not in a good spot right now.
24. Washington Commanders
25. Denver Broncos
26. New England Patriots
27. Chicago Bears
28. New York Giants
With Daniel Jones expected to play on Sunday, New York could start to rise up the rankings. It's just a little too late at this point.
29. Green Bay Packers
30. Carolina Panthers
31. Arizona Cardinals
32. Las Vegas Raiders
