Fantasy Football Players to Buy Low in Week 9
DK Metcalf, WR, Seattle Seahawks
DK Metcalf saw 14 targets against the Browns last weekend. However, he only hauled in five catches for 67 yards.
On the season, he's only got two touchdowns. He also missed a game earlier this year.
But the 14 targets share a lot. We've seen the Smith-Metcalf connection countless times. It's going to get better.
Aaron Jones, RB, Green Bay Packers
Aaron Jones hasn't been 100% healthy.
He might not even get there until late in the season. But once he does, Jones will start to produce like we're used to.
Jones added over 1,100 yards rushing last season and brought in 72 catches for another 395 yards with five receiving touchdowns. Jones could help you win a championship once he gets back to himself.
Josh Downs, WR, Indianapolis Colts
The price is higher on Downs. But that's fine. As long as Gardner Minshew is his quarterback, I'll buy.
Downs has caught 40 passes for 473 yards and two touchdowns. He's had at least 72 yards receiving in three of his last four games and has two touchdowns in those four games.
He's becoming the guy in Indianapolis. Not Michael Pittman.
Josh Downs to be bought low? Say Less. Make sure you're hammering Downs prop bets at DraftKings right now!
Davante Adams, WR, Las Vegas Raiders
How often do you get an opportunity to trade for a receiver of Adams' caliber? He's still added 539 yards receiving with three touchdowns on the year.
Adams has even had at least 12 targets in three games this season. I understand the frustration. But he'll be professional and finish out the season.
Additional Fantasy Football Buy Low Players
- Jonathan Taylor, RB, Indianapolis Colts
- D.J. Moore, WR, Chicago Bears
Fantasy Football Players to Sell High Before Week 9
Jordan Addison, RB, Minnesota Vikings
Jameis Winston could be the new starter for the Vikings before the trade deadline closes.
But either way, it's time to get rid of Addison. He helped you win multiple games, but without Kirk Cousins at quarterback, things can go south really fast. Plus, Justin Jefferson will be back eventually.
Jahmyr Gibbs, RB, Detroit Lions
I've warned you.
David Montgomery will be back and steal all of those carries from Gibbs. Gibbs is an incredible talent. You have to keep him in a dynasty or keeper league. But if it's a one-year league, you can consider trading him away from a first-round type player.
DeAndre Hopkins, WR, Tennessee Titans
Hopkins only caught four passes from Will Levis last week. It's just that three went for touchdowns, with one of those touchdowns going for 61 yards.
Those were his first three touchdowns of the season. Let Hopkins go after that production.
Hopkins and the Titans were on fire with Will Levis under center last week. Can the Titans bring that momentum into Week 9? Well, FanDuel is the place to bet on DeAndre Hopkins props right now!
Najee Harris, RB, Pittsburgh Steelers
Suppose any owner needs a "starting" running back. Just try and trade them, Najee Harris. Harris has rushed for 3.7 yards per carry this season and has one touchdown.
But his five receptions last week should at least appeal to a couple of fantasy owners.
Additional Fantasy Football Sell High Players
- Saquon Barkley, RB, New York Giants
- Brandin Cooks, WR, Dallas Cowboys
