After Week 10, the Dallas Cowboys jumped in the defensive rankings. Meanwhile, other teams' defenses were exploited and fell down the rankings.

NFL Defensive Team Rankings Heading Into Week 11
32. Denver Broncos
The Broncos are improving. But nearly 160 yards per game on the ground isn't going to cut it.
31. Arizona Cardinals
The Cardinals might have 28 sacks, but they have just five interceptions during the year.
30. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Tampa Bay has allowed just 18.8 points per game. But that will change very soon, knowing they've allowed 266.9 yards per game in the air this season.
29. Chicago Bears
The Bears have only 13 sacks this season in ten games.
28. Cincinnati Bengals
Opponents have added 136.2 yards per game rushing the football this season.
27. Los Angeles Rams
Los Angeles has given up 21.3 points and 340 yards per game this year.
26. Carolina Panthers
With 17 sacks and five interceptions, the Panthers haven't made a major impact on defense.
25. Tennessee Titans
The Titans have held teams to under 20 points per game but have only had three interceptions all year.
24. New England Patriots
18 sacks and six interceptions in six games is not like the Patriots' defense.
23. New York Giants
The Giants have allowed 24.6 points and 368.5 yards per game this season.
22. Kansas City Chiefs
The Chiefs have given up only 14.6 points per game this season. But they haven't made a major impact, with only five interceptions.
21. Los Angeles Chargers
The Chargers have allowed 393.2 yards per game this season. At least they've got 31 sacks.
20. Houston Texans
The Texans have a solid secondary and a run defense that has allowed only 93.6 yards per game.
19. Indianapolis Colts
While the Colts are earning plenty of takeaways, they've still allowed 358.5 yards per game, with nearly 130 yards coming on the ground.
18. Washington Commanders
Washington's defense has allowed 380.9 yards per game. But with 26 sacks, six interceptions, and seven fumbles, Washington's still about an average defense.
17. Detroit Lions
The Lions earn their hurries. They've also secured 13 turnovers and have held teams to under 80 yards rushing per game this season.
16. Pittsburgh Steelers
Pittsburgh has ten interceptions and eight fumble recoveries this season. They've just allowed too many passing yards and haven't been consistent against the run.
15. Atlanta Falcons
Atlanta's defense is falling down the rankings after last week's loss to Arizona.
14. Minnesota Vikings
The Vikings have forced 14 fumbles but have only recovered five.
13. Jacksonville Jaguars
The Jaguars have an awesome secondary and a run defense that has played above average.

The Raiders are a fierce pass-rush unit and play better every week under Antonio Pierce.
11. Buffalo Bills
The Bills have 33 sacks on the year, which is top-five in the NFL.
10. Green Bay Packers
Green Bay has allowed under 200 yards passing per game this season. But they're not earning many turnovers.
9. Philadelphia Eagles
The Eagles have held teams to 19.9 points per game. I'd be impressed if that number stayed below 20 after this week's game against the Chiefs.
8. Seattle Seahawks
The Seahawks have allowed over 22 points per game. But they've made a big impact with 30 sacks and 13 turnovers.
7. Cleveland Browns
Cleveland has allowed 151.1 yards in the air and another 91.6 yards on the ground. They'll likely have to be even better with Deshaun Watson out for the rest of the season.
6. Miami Dolphins
Miami's ganged up on bad opponents. But I think they'll be just fine against Aidan O'Connell this weekend.
5. New Orleans Saints
New Orleans won't earn many tackles for losses or sacks. But they've held teams to 18.8 points per game this season, with opponents earning under 200 yards passing.
4. Baltimore Ravens
Baltimore leads the league in sacks with 39. They've also allowed just 14.5 points per game this season.
3. Dallas Cowboys
Dallas has had four defensive touchdowns this year.
2. San Francisco 49ers
The 49ers don't have a single defensive touchdown. But they've added 45 hurries while giving up under 16 points per game.

The Jets have the best defense in the nation. But one little mistake by the defense, and they'll lose. That's how it goes sometimes.
