The 2024 Super Bowl odds are now down to just four teams. After one of the major contenders in the Buffalo Bills lost in the Divisional Round, oddsmakers have modified the Super Bowl odds heading into Championship weekend.
The Kansas City Chiefs, Baltimore Ravens, Detroit Lions, and San Francisco 49ers are the four teams still standing. Three of the four will rely on their staunch defense, and all have offensive firepower to keep them in games down the stretch.
Can the Niners run the table after surviving a scare against the Packers, or will the Ravens or Chiefs be able to take them down? Let's take a look at the latest 2024 Super Bowl odds and see where the remaining teams rank as we head to Championship weekend.
2023 Super Bowl Odds
4. Detroit Lions (+800) (Bet $100 to collect $900) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds
The Detroit Lions are having a dream season, and Jared Goff has led this squad to an unlikely NFC Championship appearance. They took down the Buccaneers on Sunday with a superior offensive performance. They didn't have a let down after earning their first playoff win in over 30 years, and are thrilled to advance this far.
The Lions will have their hands full with the stacked Niners defense, who bended but didn't break against another NFC North squad in the Packers on Saturday night. They stopped the Packers several times in the red zone, and a missed field goal near the end enabled the Niners to get a game-winning drive. The Lions will have to execute better than Green Bay when they head to Levi's Stadium. Their odds have probably the most value on this list if you think they have a chance to pull the upset, but they will be underdogs in every remaining game, regardless of the opponent.
3. Kansas City Chiefs (+350) (Bet $100 to collect $450) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds
The Kansas City Chiefs are back in the AFC Championship for an incredible sixth straight season. Patrick Mahomes has led them to this spot in every year as a starter, and is looking to get back to the Super Bowl for the fourth time.
The Chiefs have survived seemingly against all odds, as this team has struggled much more than the Chiefs' squads we've gotten used to seeing. Their wide receiver corps has the worst drop rate since the 0-16 Browns, yet they are still here in the AFC Championship. Kansas City will face their toughest test yet against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, where they arrive as a field goal underdog. They succeeded as a dog against the Bills, and are now 9-1 as a road dog in the Patrick Mahomes era. Their odds will shorten massively if they get past this challenge, so now would be the time to grab the Chiefs at +350 if you think Mahomes and Andy Reid will go the distance again.
2. Baltimore Ravens (+200) (Bet $100 to collect $300) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds
The Baltimore Ravens have been one of the Super Bowl favorites all year, but sit slightly back off the lead ahead of the Championship Round. They just dominated the Texans on Saturday, not allowing a single touchdown from C.J. Stroud and the red-hot Houston offense.
The Ravens already smoked the 49ers on their home field on Christmas Day, so if you're wondering why they longer odds, it has less to do with the potential rematch and more with the next opponents. Baltimore has to host the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday in the AFC Championship, who are putting it all together and looking like the playoff Chiefs of old. The Ravens are only a 3-point favorite in that one, while the Niners are nearly a touchdown favorite against the Lions, giving them the gap in the Super Bowl odds. If you're interested in taking the Ravens to win the Super Bowl, now would be the time to buy. In the latest hypothetical matchup odds, they would be about -102 against the Niners, or a 4.5-point favorite if the Lions pulled the upset, but you can still get them at +200 profitable odds right now.
1. San Francisco 49ers (+145) (Bet $100 to collect $245) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds
The San Francisco 49ers find themselves in the same spot they were in last year, except with a much better chance. They were +270 with the worst remaining odds heading into the NFC Championship game against the Eagles. Brock Purdy got injured early and they were subsequently blown away by Philadelphia in a disappointing end to the season.
The Niners are looking to change the narrative this year, and have a much better shot to do so. They have a more experienced and talented squad this season, and the veteran defense is holding it all together. They survived a scare from the Packers, and will look to avoid a similar issue against the shaky Lions defense on Sunday. San Fran is expected to be slightly favored against both of the potential AFC Champions, so now is the last chance to grab them at plus money.
