Super Bowl LVIII will kickoff on Sunday evening in Las Vegas, and the Kansas City Chiefs are looking to defend their title. The public bettors are backing them heavily, and think Patrick Mahomes and company will be victorious again as an underdog.
The average bettor can wager on nearly every outcome of the Big Game, and they tend to hone in on their favorite player props. This year is no different, so let's take a look at the most bet player props as kickoff approaches later this evening. Travis Kelce is a major target of those wagers, keep an eye on his props as they are backed with heavy ticket percentages.

1. Kansas City Chiefs +2 and Moneyline (+110)
The public has absolutely loaded up on the Kansas City Chiefs to win the Super Bowl. More than 73% of the moneyline bets are on KC, despite getting just 60% of the handle at DraftKings.
Some of the largest confirmed wagers out of Las Vegas are on the San Francisco 49ers -2 and ML, but the public ticket percentage continues to persist on the Chiefs. That won't change before kickoff, most bettors refuse to fade Patrick Mahomes as an underdog. He's racked up a 9-1 ATS record in this spot, and 3-0 straight up in the playoffs. It is one of the heaviest backed underdogs in recent memory, and will be a battle on the field to see if the public will emerge victorious.
2. Over 47.5 Total Points (-110)
The over is another popular wager, with the public thinking there will be a lot of points scored by the top playmakers. The Niners have McCaffrey, Deebo, Aiyuk and Kittle, while the Chiefs have Mahomes, Pacheco, Kelce, and Rice. There are certainly some weapons on both sides. The Chiefs' defense has been phenomenal however, while the Niners' defense has been bend, don't break. The public bet is 61% on the over, while getting just 52% of the handle. The line hasn't moved an inch all week, but the public still loves the over regardless.
3. Travis Kelce Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+105)
This may be one of the most popular bets of the weekend, but at the end of the day, it is the Super Bowl. Kelce scored last year against the Eagles, and in 2020 against the Niners. The only Super Bowl that he didn't score in was in 2021 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but the Chiefs simply couldn't find the end zone in that one. He had 10 catches for 133 yards regardless, which is about as good of a game that you can have for a team with only three field goals. At close to even odds, the public is slamming on Kelce to score once again on the biggest stage, and history would side with them on this one.
4. Travis Kelce Over 70.5 Receiving Yards
There's more love for Kelce again in the yards market. A lot of casual football fans that are tuning in for the Taylor Swift angle will also be hopping on this prop. They all want Travis to do well on the global stage, and he's been successful in the past. As mentioned, he had 133 yards in 2021, and another 81 last year. No matter what the Niners' defense tries, he will still get targets throughout the game, and the public will love to get in on the Kelce action throughout Super Bowl LVIII
5. Brock Purdy to Throw An Interception (-130)
Brock Purdy will have his hands full with top flight Kansas City Chiefs defense on Sunday evening. He struggled in the first two playoff games, and had to come back from double-digit deficits to make the Super Bowl. The public thinks this trend will continue, as 90% of bets are on Purdy to throw an interception. If the 49ers are trying to come from behind again, he will be forced into pressure situations against one of the best defenses in the NFL.
