XFL Odds: St Louis Battlehawks Favored to Win XFL After 2-0 Start

Anthony Becht and AJ McCarron have the Battlehawks at 2-0 after dramatic comebacks in back-to-back weeks. That’s got the sportsbooks believing that St. Louis may win the XFL.

The Battlehawks are now given +450 odds or an implied 18.2% chance to win the league. That has them just out in front of the Arlington Renegades +500 and the D.C. Defenders +600. Meanwhile, the Seattle Sea Dragons, who’ve now fallen to 0-2, are given +1000 odds or an implied 9.1% chance. Better than only the Orlando Guardians who are given +1700 odds or an implied 5.6% chance.

These are major shifts. Prior to the start of the season, the Battlehawks were +500 so a small jump. However, that’s a jump from the third favorite to the overall favorite to win the league. On the other hand, the Sea Dragons went from +470 to +1000. That’s a fall from second favorite to second worst on the market.

St. Louis is showing just how important a top-end quarterback can be. They’ve fallen behind by multiple scores in both of their games, but AJ McCarron has been able to lead them back. With potentially the best quarterback in the league the Battlehawks are the easy favorites now. But the Renegades and Defenders are right there.
