Scottie Scheffler 2025 US Open Odds, Betting Preview and Predictions
The 2025 season didn't start so well for Scottie Scheffler. He began the year on the sidelines with an injured hand and didn't win his first event until the CJ Cup Byron Nelson at the TPC Craig Ranch.
However, since earning a victory at the CJ Cup Byron Nelson, Scheffler has won three of his last four events, including the PGA Championship at the Quail Hollow Club.
Scheffler has also added seven consecutive top ten finishes and has earned a top five finish in six of his last seven. He's clearly locked in heading into the US Open.
It's why he's the current favorite at +280. The next competitor on the odds board is Bryson DeChambeau, but he's at +750 odds.

Scottie Scheffler US Open Odds: Winner +280
Scottie Scheffler has won many tournaments. However, he's never added a US Open Championship to his resume. He's come close, though.
In 2022, he came up one stroke short of Matt Fitzpatrick. He's also added two top-five finishes and three top-ten finishes in his last three US Open appearances.
Ultimately, in his current form, Scottie Scheffler looks unbeatable. Oakmont Country Club certainly isn't an easy course. It's fast with narrow fairways and deep bunkers. But Scheffler thrives on these courses since he's so precise. That gives him an advantage.
Scottie Scheffler US Open Odds: Top 5 Finish -138
He hasn't missed a cut in a major since 2020. He's also added top-ten finishes in all US Opens since 2021. Even if he doesn't start well, he'll likely stick around on Saturday and Sunday and make a push.
We know that golf can be unpredictable at times. But that probably favors Scheffler even more. He's also calm, cool, and collected, and doesn't let mistakes affect his play like other golfers.
Ultimately, I'd trust Scheffler and back him, even at -200 to finish inside the top five. I can already picture it. He'll win the US Open on Father's Day, with his wife and son Bennett there to greet him.
He'll be the popular play, but for good reason.
